  1. I picked up the 44s in p9. No idea which denim p9 equates to. There were a few rinsed pairs on the rack in the MF store and these felt pretty good, quite heavy and slubby. Tried them and they were a perfect fit in a 34. Tried another pair in 33 (labelled lot 44) and they werent a bad fit either, good in the waste but a slimmer look which defeats the object of these jeans. I could have bought the pair of 34s I tried but decided to take a raw pair with me. Not doing the soak yourself just isnt right?! Im usually between 34 and 36 in most jeans so I was mightly surprised to get into the 33s after soaking but then Ive no idea which denim it was. Felt like it would stretch a bit.

    made me chuckle

    from the MF site

"* FIT: Based on the general silhouette/image of the “BRMC†blue jeans of the Wild Ones (1953). Traditional mid-rise, “tubular†silhouette legs, fit seat.

These blue jeans are NOT skinnies, as we don’t dig the ‘men in tights’ or “girlfriend’s jeans†thingy."

  2. i think maybe these were recently rereleased or something? would prefer something close to new, but i will obviously be interested in whatever's out there.

interested in something like a size 40

  3. How much did your ranch blouse (J10's) shrink RNR? Mine didn't shrink that much at all. Thinking about putting them through a couple of spin cycles.. what size did El Topo get, anybody know?

i got a j10. i cold soaked AND hot soak. barely any shrinkage. that is why im selling it...

fr: i wear a 42 suit jacket, bought a 40 RB -- still too big.

  4. I went with the J15 which was unsanforized. I cold soaked it for 20 minutes and cycle spun for a few minutes, then hung dry. It shrunk up around a 1.5 or more inches on the sleeves. Also the body fits much better now as well. Sorry guys I didn't take exact measurements on it but I think the MF store did. The denim is really dark and pretty hairy. I'm pretty stoked on the fit now.

I was told at the store that J15 is one of, if not, the heaviest offering

  5. Did you get the jacket it J10? If so what was the shrinkage like?

it took some of the bulkiness out. I buy size 42 suits, and this was a 40. It still needed some shrinking. I did one cold soak about 15m and let dry. Not enough. Then a 30m hot soak. i think the fit is right. The original problem was the bulk and length of the arms.

  6. I am picking that one up tomorrow.

I am picking that one up tomorrow.

this jacket is so nice. incredible value. ill post fit pics tomorrow.

and also as a side note -- what a cool idea, right? make one cut in 21 different types of denim.
