  1. Been googling ma-1's way too much.  Looking for slim fit in the sleeves and body but could use a bit more length and no logos.  Must be good quality in navy or black.

  2. So hard to find a good quality, simple black or midnight navy ma-1 with a slightly longer and slimmer not puffy fit (even though I know a lot of you guys like the more authentic rounder fit).  Something warm enough for fall/early winter.  Not too too shiny.  Any suggestions?  Preferably around $300 or less.

  3. Does anyone know what type of thread I should use for invisible darning?  Polyester wrapped polyester core?  Cotton wrapped polyester core?  100% Cotton?  Can't seem to find anything thick enough to match the denim thread.  The best I can find is Coats Dual Duty Denim thread which is marled to more easily match different colors of denim.  Will it do the trick in terms of strength though?  Seems pretty thin...

  4. Hey guys, for the 1947 LVCs I need a true 34.5" after soak and stretch, should I go with 34s or 36s? Also need about 12.5" in the thigh after stretch.

From what I understand, the pre-2009s are 1" smaller than tagged and post-2009s are true to size. If I could find some older 36s that actually measured 35 those might do the trick, but I've seen some measure 13" in the thigh which would be too big.

Should I go with post-2009s in 34 then? They would shrink down to a 32 waist but would they stretch back out to 34?

    Thanks!

  5. Does anyone know where I can find a faded out / light blue chambray or maybe denim shirt similar in shade to the below, double or single chest pockets doesn't matter.

  6. For those with athletic builds (v-tapered broad shoulders and narrow waist) what brand offers a good fit? I've tried Gitman, BoO, etc. but nothing seems to fit right. Either I have to size up for shoulder fit and end up with a baggy torso, or end up with a great fit in the body but tight chest and shoulders. Very frustrating!

  7. Size 4.

Thom browne untucked looks like a lady's shirt.

Hrm, I'm guessing you're talking about the hip flare and the longer length? Anyone have theirs tailored shorter before?
