Viapiana – Wide – 16.25oz (17oz after soak) Unsanforized Japanese Selvedge Denim
After two years of wear for the Heavyweight Denim Contest I decided to dye my jeans blue. It's hard to tell from the images but they came out really bright in the faded areas.7 -
That's the one Maynard. My uncle worked in the prison so I use to hang out here in the 1980's.

Thanks clawbytes, this is the abandoned prison just above where I live. People walk their dogs here now and there is a very weird community garden in some ruined buildings... sort of place hippies come to play bongo drums on a full moon.

I've wanted some Tender Co. Denim for ever and I finally treated myself to a pair of the LOT. 130 Woad Dyed Jeans.
The details and cut are awesome... I love everything about this brand, inspirational William!8 -

Sorry guys, I've been bloody slack posting images and completing challenges... my teacher always said "needs to try harder!"

well then, he maybe can adjust the 50s cut with a longer rise for those who need it (jyoni, setterman)? But maybe that is too much and would require a whole new pattern...but asking won't hurt
I had a pair and the rise was way to low for me, especially after a soak because they shrunk a lot.
The denim is really nice though.

The colour of my jeans has changed a lot from new, more of an even fade (which I like). I wear them at least three days a week and wash them all the time... nothing flash, just straight into the washing machine inside out.

Sports Challenge: One of my hobbies is rolling around with grown men (and a few brave women) in our pajamas.
The best way to fade jeans is by rubbing them on other people!
A little move I invented called the "push me, pull me"... beautiful harmony!
I can stay here all day!

Checking in from Cuba Street, Wellington, New Zealand.
Boots around the corner from work...... which is also the secret entrance to a high end massage parlour... I can't confirm the high end part?... Then its a hop, skip, and a jump to my favourite old school toy store with the talking Moa (extinct native giant bird)... my kids always break something here!... Turn 180 degrees and you can see my neighbour and good friend Peter McLeavey's famous loft art gallery. Peter has worked as an art dealer out of this one room space since the 1960's and is an absolute NZ legend!7 -

You can't see it but these jeans are actually fading really fast.

Hi Somar,
Here's some links to the last batch of boots we made and photos of the workshop:

I'm about to release all future boots and some other products under a brand I created. I'm also working on our own rubber sole manufactured locally which should be ready soon.

^^ Hemi, that's the pizzeria just off Cuba St isn't it? Vivian St? We often went there on a Sunday with the kids. Great pizzas with real Italians working there!
Yes Maynard, Scopa on the corner of Cuba St & Ghuznee St two doors down from my store. Its run by brothers Leonardo & Lorenzo... their father came to New Zealand in the 1960's and opened one of the first authentic Italian restaurants.

I've been to their store in Kojima and hung out with Yoshi and Takeshi... great guys!
They own their sewing/finishing workshop and dyehouse.
I've got some of their jeans. The jackets are awesome @SSchadenfreude. Takeshi hand paints them.
