Nah, sorry Mass, Paul Pierce is a bitch. I am not denying that he is an effective player, but he just acts like a bitch. He fully takes advantage of the current weaknesses in the NBA officiating system by constantly drawing fouls (to a very impressive point) and overplaying/flopping incredibly hard. I absolutely agree that he is a great player, but not in any kind of respectable way.

And getting stabbed by Benzino is nothing to admire, at all. Sorry.

Honestly, I've warmed up to the Lakers a little this season. I love Ron-ron, Lamar, and Derek. KobexSZ was hilarious. Fuck pretty much the rest of the team though.

However, I think I might now be a Celtics fan. Fuck Paul Pierce, but I've always liked Ray Allen. Sheed has long been one of my favourites, but most of all now, I think Rondo is just one of the most amazing players to watch in the league right now. Watching them kill the Magic was just beautiful to watch.

I had my first semi-interesting event happen on the TTC recently. I got on the train to hear this thug-ish looking white dude say "Anyone who doesn't believe in Jesus is honestly a faggot". He was talking to this old dude who looked like Lenin across from him, who kept nodding to everything he said. Some other choice quotes were "I'd fucking kill that guy who made that movie about jesus. Jesus was so tough. You can't make a movie about Jesus. That's just wrong" and "how can you not believe in Jesus? It just doesn't make any sense".

I'm not a hardline atheist or anything. It was just bizarre seeing a fanatical, tough looking white dude yelling to an ancient eastern european man with a Ushanka and a cane about how "people who don't believe in jesus desire to die" in Toronto.

I really hope it's Celtics vs. The Suns in the finals. Fuck the Magic. Wack ass team. If Vince Carter ever gets a ring I swear I'll never watch another NBA game.
