I'm going to Japan and I'd like to get a pair of Japanese repro jeans. My favourite pair of jeans are my APC NSs. I'm looking for something with the same fit, but higher quality.

I'm going to be in Osaka for one day and would like to know where to get some quality jeans. Most that I have are nudie/apc-level. I would like to get a pair at skull/pbj level. I know of Hinoya, but not much else. Everything I see is Tokyo.

I'm staying in Amerikamura if it matters.

Is anyone familiar with Japanese repro brands' pricing in Japan, Taiwan, China, Korea, Hong Kong? I assume that Japan would be the cheapest/ best selection. DO any of the countries that I have come anywhere close in terms of price selection, or is Japan far and away the best?

Also, in terms of sales, I know that BiG and Selfedge have either very infrequent or no sales on their quality jeans. Is this the case in East Asian countries?

Lastly, how does that Take5 discount work?

I think I'd balk at the new price, but a benefit for us slim guys is that he now makes them 2 sizes smaller. This was the only problem before, otherwise I would have robocopped*. I still wish a 27 was available, but 28 would definitely be doable.

No good sales in Toronto. There was a sale when I was there, but it was so forgettable that I forgot what it was. Its a nice looking store, but the only thing I have to compare it to is an outlet in Cali. It was a little strange. Its a a businessy place and almost every store besides it was closed because I went on a weekend. Strange. The SA had a pseudo-english accent which bothered me. Also lots of staff. The ratio was like 5:1 staff to non-staff ratio.

Went to the BB store in Toronto today. Here's what I found:
