They will stretch where your body pushes against them. They look tight in the thighs, so they will stretch there (a bit, my thighs never stretched too much on my APC's) and you will get some knee bulges (that happens with lots o denim tho). I think people worry too much about stretch and whatnot. The 28's look good. As long as they are not baggy on you now I would say get those.

27s will probably get you closer to the pic your referenced, but I like the 28s on you much more.

Question:
Would this forum benefit from a 'Gustin Denim' thread, or would this be a waste of space? I got my two pairs in the mail today and was going to post an initial review, fit pics, etc., but I don't want to clog up the area with wasted threads.
Thanks,
Venom

Thanks. They have been stretching out nicely on the thighs, but finding the calves a bit too restricting. Looking at APC NS or Rescue's as an alternative. What do you think? Any other cuts you guys would recommend?
I think Rescues would be a good fit for your body type.

^i was pretty stoked that the 30bsp have a more substantial pocket bag. Even though my sl's haven't had this happen yet I figured it was only a matter of time.
I have the new canvas pocketbag too. Still ripped, just in a different spot from my old ones. It tears where the belt loop is sewn into the pocket bag (to the right of the rivet on the left pocket). Hole just keeps getting bigger and it sucks because I have like two weeks of wear in them, and I loved the fit.

How tall are you and How much does your waist
6'2", these are a 33 waist (same as I wear in APC, Nudie, Levis, etc.) Unfortunately I am not wearing these anymore as the pocketbags are ripping again and I think they will blow out like before. Shame because I love the denim and fit.

how long did it take you to stretch yout pair to comfy size?
Are you asking someone specifically or in general? After a couple weeks my NC's were comfy enough that I didn't really think about them (in terms of stretch, they were obviously still very stiff)

Welp I backed the Gustin Kickstarter...Got a pair of Standards and Japanese Standards. I don't think they'll be here till April or May. I haven't seen any mention of Gustins on SUFU (I also haven't tried searching...) but does anyone have any experience with these?

How many washes/soaks? How long have you had them? Very impressive fades.
Thank you! They have around 18 months of wear with 4 washes. Had the crotch repaired twice. I will be hanging them up for a bit while I work on my 3Sixteens I think.

New Cures. About 18 months and 4 washes.
I'll be taking a break from these for a bit to work on my 3Sixteens.

hey guys, intending to get some new cures soon. im waist 28 so i guess going for new cures 26 would be about right yes?
Well they are vanity sized, so tagged 26 will come as a 27 and stretch from there. I am normally a 33 or 34 in other jeans, and I have a NC in both 32 and in 33. The 33 are more comfortable and fit a bit more to my liking but I do need a belt with them (about 9-10 months wear in those). The 32's were a little snug at first but now fit plenty comfy and are the way new cures are meant to fit (I guess, only a couple months in those). For reference, here is how my 33's fit:
So in other words, you should be just fine with 26's or 27's depending on how you want them to fit.

Those are looking awesome benkenobi, especially for just 7 months. Whiskers, knees, and stacks are setting in real well. Keep wearing em hard.

Well last week my jeans decided to build a house. Here is the 'SOLD' pin as we stick it on our lot...
Then my jeans assisted me in installing a new buffer in my Smith:
Grabbed a zombie hunter patch (you know, just so I am a 'licensed' zombie killer, want to make sure I obey the law):
And now relaxing.

Looking good nachtelijk! You gotta throw that heel hook!
The other day my jeans went house shopping again and ran across this sign on one of the closets:
So naturally I open it...
(We did not buy that house)
Then my jeans helped me install a new trigger guard on my AR...

Nice fit on all 3 of those Computurd. I enjoy seeing pictures on this thread instead of sizing questions over and over...

Deleted because I'm a dork.
Carry on.

Loving mine still but my pocket ripped the other day. Not sure how, but I figured I would teach my self how to stitch by hand to fix it. i have never sewed anything in my life, and it doesn't look pretty, but it got the job done:
The jeans have stretched out a bit now and are very comfortable.

How do you guys like the new pocket flashers?
I don't know what a pocket flasher is, but I love everything about these goddamn jeans, so I can say that I LOVE THE NEW POCKET FLASHERS.
In all honesty these are the most comfortable raw denim I have ever started to break in. So damn soft and I love the fit.
