About to soak and I was wondering if cuffing the hem would help shorten the inseam?

That seller (kendokobayashi) puts them up pretty frequently and you can ask to see if he can get any other sizes.

No. Indigo is a pretty light-fast dye. You would need to leave them out for a long time - months - for it to have an effect.

tried to go through a few pages but nothing was mentioned. can anyone shed some light on the 67 505 sizing? is it similar to 47s ie tag size says 31 could be 30 or 32. or is that only an issue with unsanforized

Anyone have any pictures of a pair of jeans that should've been washed before wearing... For example, a lot of people claim that you must soak/wash Levi 501 before wearing or else, you'll end up getting fades in the wrong places..?

How many washes has it gotten?

The man difference between the two is fit. The 614 has a noticeably tighter waist and more pronounced hip flare. Front rise is also higher on the 614, 12.5" versus 11" on the 906. For me, the 906 is by far the better fitting pair. Denim on s614 feels a hair heavier, but maybe that's just my imagination since they both share the same selvedge color (pink). Like the tag says, weight is 14.75 oz.

Dr_Heech, they definitely had two different zippered models, but I may be mistaken about one being the 551, as I didn't realize the 501 models also had the "zxx" label. I'm about 80% sure.

LVC does have a strange distribution model- I didn't know they were making the spring-bottoms in this run until the Farinelli's link popped up, and the altered '55s are a surprise to me too.

I have a pair of the 501Z XX with Talon 42 zipper. I ordered them late March from cultizm. I've only tried them on once, as I'm trying to wear in some other pairs of jeans.

Hello all.... Identification question. I have an old pair of Levis 684 Orange tab jean shorts. (can't believe I wore these! I am 50 +, so they have seen some days. Question is RE: Orange tab. Registered trademark only on tab. (both sides) No Levis. Any one have info as to why? All 684's I have viewed have Levis on tab.
