  1. Leave for a few posts and come back to a whole lotta man sass. Meooww.

If you dont have the time to look thru 50ish pages of thread..Just google tender co belts and you'll find a link for sure to help you out buddy.

I know from my own experience I had to size up. Deffinately a rad belt though. If you pick one up, I doubt you'll be bummed. Mine has only gotten better with wear. Be sure and post pics if you get something good!

  2. Wow!! Can we make something happen like this in the US sometime?

The pictures look so rad! Must be neat to see everyone and how they wear things differently in person. (Ei. Inside out apron, oversized side strap jeans)

  3. Just ordered my first pair of Tender Co pants from Unionmade..dark indigo, size 2. Any suggestions on wear/wash/do's and don't's????

    Don't:

    Avoid having fun.

    Do:

    Post pictures.

The only thing I stick to air drying. The rest is all just wearin em.

New Verdigris 129s from the Tender Store came in the other day. Green isn't my usual go-to but this mint color is just too good. (much unlike my PBR.)

I'll try to take a better picture of the fabric later on. Perfect amount of slub to give some great texture!

Not sure these picture do justice but all my natural tender leather is really darkening. Especially the belt pouch and wrist strap which get the most sun. My wallet has taken on the most sheen while my belt has the most intestering of coloration.

I've thought about completing the collection with the addition of the coin purse just due to how great they look with age... but I'm just not sure of how practical it would be for me in day to day use...not a big change person.

  6. yeah us americans are pretty conservative with our jeans. luckily william is showing us a few options past the standard 1947 501 template.

Now wait just a second brotha, don't you go hatin on 501s. I actually used to manage a Levis shop 3-4 years ago. :)

Just sayin.. If any usa shops wanted to maybe carry these.. Wink wink.. Hint hint... Your boy would be pretty stoked.

  7. Its a shame those driver pockets aren't more readily available in the US. I think the pocket placement is pretty fun but it looks like the Japanese market is the only one really on the ball with this style.

  8. Two cheers for old jeans!

So I was gonna try and just patch this myself with some fabric underneath.. Is this something that requires a more intense repair? Im a beginner level sewer but it seemed like something I could probably fix up.

  9. Oh man. Great outfit! ^^^

I dream of owning one of those unborn jackets. In Florida the heat was already in the 80s today. I think I wore my sweater only a couple days this year and now I'm already back to tees for the year.

More pics of the 900 though! It looks like its really great blue on the inside.. Did you dye it yourself? Or is that just from contact/washes?

  10. So yeah my phone is acting kinda weird.. But I was going to put up a couple pictures I'd taken recently.

Here in Florida it doesn't get too cold.. Honestly I've been wearing tees all week and been fine. But this was one of the few chilly days I had last week where I got to pull out my Lambswool sweater. I purchased the natural color with the mindset of if I ever stain it I could always just dye it. But for now, I'm enjoying the white. Though the sizing did take some trying out. Normally I'm a 3 in all things tender but is these the 3 was suppper tight. So I sized up to a 4 which is still snug but fits appropriate for my style.

I liked this shot just because you could see how the dye is wearing down on these dyed beaverteen 129s.

This is a shot of some of my Tender gear. Some of my friends comment that I dress like an old chimney sweep... They might be right. The whistle and hat are some of my latest additions. (The bandana is an old hillside Olympic slub that I indigo dyed a while back.)

Here's to another year of collecting more of Wills rad gizmos and gadgets!

  11. In my own experience I found I needed to size up. From wearing a 2 in my 130's and a 3 for my belt. When I received the 2 in my belt I couldn't even fit it.. I sized up to a 3 and I can fit between the 2-3 notches just fine. It did seem weird to me to have such a drastic change in fit from 1 size to the next so it could've been a oddly sized size 2 belt.. But regardless I have way more options having sized up. Seriously the best belt though. Couldn't be happier.

  12. I'm sure others could provide a more elaborate explanation... But I have both 130s and 129s. From my experience 130s offer more room in the thigh with a more obvious taper. 129s offer a slimmer fit on the seat and thigh with a more straight leg down.. But that's just my opinion. I do prefer my 130s but that could be because I love the color so much.
