  1. Email Jay and he'll get back to you promptly. Seriously some of the best customer service I've ever experienced from that dude.

^ thumbs up for jay as well, awesome customer service. he deserves as much rep as possible =)

  2. could i get an indication of the size of those back pockets? they looked seriously big on the selfedge model photos... i only have a pair of skulls 5010 to compare to (and i personally find those just a smidget bigger than i'd like)

thanks for the enlightenment in advance

  3. kijkub

how much shrinking did you get?

so far i've done 1 hot soak for 2 hrs with denim inside out, then left in the sun to dry for 4 hrs.

sadly the only shrinking i got was in the waist, front rise and back rise, all about 0.5 inch. thighs knees and hem remain the same =/

    pre soak :

    waist- 30

    front rise - 9.5

    back rise - 14.5

    thigh - 10

    knees - 7.5

    leg opening - 6.5

    inseam - 33.5

    post soak:

    waist- 29.5

    front rise - 9

    back rise - 14

thigh - 10.5 (it got wider!?)

    knees - 7.5

    leg opening - 6.5

    inseam - 31.5

will try another hot soak without flipping the jeans inside out... hope it shrinks more =(

  4. Yes, you can keep the selvage; but you can't make a neat join on the inside seam without unrolling and restitching the hem. A skilled worker might be capable of a bodge, and part unroll the hem, enough for it to pass muster.

thanks for the reply paul =)

could any kind souls advise a method/technique to go about tapering a pair of selvedge jeans (other than of course selling it and getting another pair of jeans...)

  5. Hey Mr -Z-,

Is that the same N&F Weird Guy you sized down 1 for? Color looks pretty different from your previous update (think you were wearing chucks?)

    2 questions :

    1) Is it Deep Indigo or Indigo?

    2) How many oz is that?
