Had to do a little trimming today at work, and my 501s got a little bit grassy with the outcome.

also if you look close you can see a bit of my at home crotch repair, my first time but my moms old sewing machine pulled it off pretty well. I might grab some pics another time of it.

My 501 STF work jeans, about 6 months in or so, and it is time for a crotch reinforcement I can see the seam is coming apart and I want to get it fixed up before it gets any worse. I am going to tackle it myself and see how it goes.

Okay so I snatched some pictures of my 501s 3 months in give or take a few days.

They are coming along pretty nicely, I think at the end of the month I am going to swap them into my everyday denim and take my N&F to work and break those in better.

In order of importance to me:

1. Find a girl that I love and settle down

2. Finish high school upgrading, get bio/chem/physics 30

3. Pay off most of my debt

4. Go to college for Turfgrass Management, and become a superintendent.

I am pretty happy with where I am at now, just wish I didn't have as much debt as I do.

Saw a guy today at Mcdonalds in Callingwood (Edmonton) with a set of Nudies, they looks pretty good even though they weren't faded very much. Didn't feel like striking up a conversation since I assume you was with his mom. Here's hoping that he is on sufu!

Here are some pics of my new pickup, Naked & Famous Slim Guy size 32, I wanted some 31 so they could be tighter in the waist, but they wouldn't take them back unfortunately. These should do for now though.

Hey guys, I just bought a set of N&F size 32 slim guys, and while they are a good denim, I bought them when they were a decent fit, not very tight at all, and now that they are expanding I don't really enjoy how they are fitting, too loose for my liking. Should I return them and get a size 31 or a 30? I still have a few days left before I do this, and I want to make sure I don't buy jeans that won't stretch enough to be comfy for me.

Personally to me that looks way too long, and I would get it hemmed, or do some cuffs.

Just do a light machine wash + hang dry, it will get the stink out and not lose a whole bunch of indigo in the process.

My 501s after an initial soak and a soak about a week ago, probably a month and a week into it.

I am happy with them so far, I am a little upset that I bought them a size or two too big in the waist, so they are loose without a belt. I am looking forward to wearing them out so I can get into a pair of tapered jeans though, these fit soo loose below the knee, I am not a big fan of it.

I'm not going to lie, it's the shittiest couch ever, but it is comfy, and it was free. Eventually I will get around to buying a new couch, but I am moving to Vancouver soon so I don't see me investing a whole lot of cash into furniture.

makes sense, however I am reading that it is more beneficial to measure your actual waist and go from there. Whenever I measure the jeans they are the size they are tagged for, but my waist is always a few inches bigger. Surely I can't be measuring wrong, it's an easy task.

Okay I don't want to sound too dumb here.. But how do I go about measuring my waist? I am currently wearing Levi 501 33x34 and they fit pretty decent maybe a bit loose... But when I measure with a tape measure I always get 37". How am I doing this wrong? I am going right where I wear my jeans. Can someone help me with this?

I'm looking for a some new raw denhim, right now I am wearing some 501 STF and while I kind of like it, they feel very cheap. I need something that can fit my thighs (the 501s are pretty good, just a bit big) and around an 11" rise. Any suggestions? I was thinking of getting some nudie regular alfs, but am open to some others suggestions as I was hoping they keep kicking for at least 6+ months of hard wear.
