  1. I've always loved that watch. Never owned it though. Cheers!

William, I'm not sure how many times I've searched deep into Instagram hoping to find a solid source for the brand. (hint, hint)

  2. Wonderful stuff, William. There's something so effortless about head-to-toe Tender, and yet it isn't the easiest brand to pull off. Very cool to see how each person decides to wear the pieces in his/her own way.

  3. Took a quick snap of my Sugar Cane jacket before boxing it up. Wore it off and on during a year, washed 3-4 times.

This is exactly where I'd want my jacket to stay forever. Not brand new. Not washed out. Just right. I'm jealous.

OrSlow just does it for me. I can't say that I own anything from them, definitely high on my list though. When I was shopping around Manhattan over the summer their stuff, along with anything Nepenthes, definitely stood out the most for me.

  4. Some of that WH banner denim goodness...

Wooooowwwwwwwwwwwww. That's all I can really say.

I love everything about my 1001, been wearing them like crazy.

  5. Type II, size 42

Glad I was able to hold out for a few days and swap the 40 for a 42. Well worth the wait, this thing is cool.

Asking for a friend: He has the Type III Black Jeans from SE and is wondering if wearing sulfur dyed jeans could be hazardous to his health. Please tell me that the rest of you think he's as crazy as I do.

  6. I think I've just made my mind up to swap it for a 42 and throw it in hot water. I'll be in SF on Thursday anyway, and will be able to make the transaction pretty quickly. Bummer, was actually planning on breaking it in on the trip. Oh well...

  7. Thanks guys. Interesting insight mondo--in terms of the washing/sizing. Seeing as this is the unwashed version, I do think I should soak in some regards as it will eventually have to touch water in its lifetime.

Arms are a bit long though. Shoulders are perfect, body length doesn't bother me one bit.

Maybe I should exchange for a 42 and hope for this fit after a hot soak? That way, I can just wash wash wash soak whatever and not have to worry about it. I mean, if the sleeves were a tiny bit shorter, this current fit would be perfect.

  8. Was a loooong week, having to wait for my Type II to come in from Portland. I've never had a denim jacket and I have a few questions. I'm assuming this will fit pretty well after a hot soak. Mostly concerned about the shoulders shrinking a bit too far.

What do you guys think? (Not sure why I didn't tuck my shirt in for the photos)

PS, 45 mins on hottest tap with moderate agitation should do the trick right?

  9. I don't know man. I have both a Ball Park and a SG and I don't think I can wear either of them because they're so short. The vintage fit definitely not for everyone. The fabrics though... tough to let go of but I might have to put them up for sale.

  10. My copy came in the mail late last night. Just finished the article--mostly a piece on the history of Warehouse as it is their 20 year anniversary and gets into depth on their different lines. Mentions a few things regarding the 1001 as well. Great read, Inventory never disappoints.

  11. Thinking I might actually throw the 1001s in a hot wash here pretty soon. I NEED more of that crinkly marbly veiny deliciousness! Not to mention the fact that they've stretched out a fair amount over the last month.

  12. There is more than likely a bit of shrinking left to do, you're probably right. I soaked them in the hottest tap for about an hour with plenty of agitation. These came out exactly how I had hoped; they won't touch water for quite some time.

^ You only need to get them hemmed if you're unhappy with the double/triple cuffing you have. In the photos, the drape and length of the leg to the cuff is spot-on.

Yeah personally love the chunky cuff on that fit.

I think you said it best Brad, the "chunky" cuff is working for me too. Gives an effortless look which adds to the ease of wear.

btw, I'm excited to watch some postseason baseball. A lot of people have the Jays taking it all!

  13. drew, you just gotta get those hemmed to get a super super clean fit.

I see you also dig the 70s converse, I have those two colors too!

I'll probably have a few inches trimmed off in the future, but I'm in no rush right now. They're working out just fine atm.

Don't get me started on 70s Converse. I probably own 12 pairs--might be my favorite sneaker of all time.

  14. You nailed the fit dude. They look excellent.

Thanks sir. It's only about my tenth pair of unwashed jeans, about time I got ahold of the whole sizing thing...
