Brand New. Tried them on inside on carpet.
Nepco, made by Nepenthes (Engineered Garments)
I know that Nepenthes had Russell Moccasin make them some shoes, but I can't verify (although I suspect) that these are made by Russell. They ARE marked MADE IN USA, size 9.5D.
These are SECONDS. They have some uneven seams, a bit of discoloration from glue(may come out), and the leather is wrinkled in some areas. I would totally wear these if they fit right, but I don't want somebody disappointed thinking they're getting perfect shoes. They have a black X on the label inside, and also a hole punched ( you cannot see it when tied).
The ONLY reason I am selling these is that they are a bit tight on me. I wear a 9.5D/E and these are closer to a 9-9.5 D. If you're planning to wear thin socks and you usually wear 9.5, these should fit fine. If you plan on wearing thick tube socks, you should be a 9 or 9E.
Again, although these are seconds, I think they look cool as hell and would wear the hell out of them. Problem is I have a very sensitive heel and if shoes are the slightest bit tight they kill my heel.
Measurements: (using a tailor's tape)
Approx exterior length, from heel to toe: 12"
Approx width at ball: 4 1/4" (these will stretch width wise if you need them to)
approximate interior length 11 1/8"

Vael Project Brogue boots - how do they fit?
My half size isn't available - would you go up or down in this case?
Well, since nobody knows, I'll relate my experience.
I went ahead and ordered a half size up - I have a slightly wide foot. They fit very well. If I got my correct size they would have just fit me, but they seem like they'll stretch a bit. I like to wear thicker socks, so these fit great.
These brogues boots are SUPER lightweight - like sneakers. Comfortable right out of the box.
Hope this helps someone else.
