thanks guys. Whenever I'm out somewhere I normally try and lock up through the frame and front wheel... but I work at a health food store and the bike rack is right beside the exits and this was during our busiest time of day on Sunday ; so its really not even in my mind that this would happen there (plus Dallas scene isn't very big and we have security roaming the lot).

o well, been pretty bummed but I'm happy I didn't lose more and its been kind of shadowed by things that are much more important (family health), so just take it as a lesson learned and will def try the superglue and other ideas.

so walking back from my break at work and noticed couple fixedgears around the bike rack and thought nothing of it, came out to just see whats up and of course they break out and I'm left with the above (except the bike was on the ground). sad and angry with myself for not being more aware (I was basically outside standing next to them as they're hopping on and riding away).

here is what it used to look like... made away with thompson stem and deda pista bars. trying to find a bright side, i'm happy i still have my concor light saddle and the rest of the bike.

i agree about the whole donovan deal. mls make it really hard on transfers. would be a shame if they don't allow it.

showed a lot early in the game (and previous 2) using his strength and size where the CB's were dragging him down when he got around them, and fans were giving him lots of praise every time he touched the ball. You could tell it was coming.

i got up at 4:45am to watch the everton/liverpool match on espn. donovan had a pretty good game. hope he stays. having a fellow american there with him in the club will help a lot too.

I agree, I can't think of an everton player who had a better game than he did. Hopefully he will be brought into Everton full time, but I'm not too sure they have the financial backing to give MLS what they want for him (he just signed a 4-yr deal before leaving on-loan)... maybe some other team will tho.

Altidore put in a really strong game as well for hull with a goal, and was giving the CB's hell from the start (both CB's were on yellow cards at 20mins).

Robinho put in a sweet back-heel goal for Santos for the late game winner also.

Here is the one I have on my side.. I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to leave it as-is or do some shading and effects added for the water below. was done by Tim Creed in like 06 as a tribute of sort to my parents who adopted me (both who have since passed since). I picked it from albulm booklet from my favorite band, so I'll see if anyone recognizes it.

the other on my wrist was a mistake and I plan on getting it covered with a vintage mirror and just filling black over it. bleh.
