Really great-seeming jeans. This pair's actually still up for sale, if anyone wants it, with all of the original packaging & labels. Unworn besides a few quick times trying them on. More photos & details back on page 240 of this thread.

    Thanks!

  2. Does anyone have a fit pic of their 1955s?  I am thinking about pulling the trigger on a pair, but I never trust the fit pics on store websites, and can't seem to find too many user submitted ones.

  3. I suppose I also have some less-exciting pictures of my Okis.

Persimmon-dyed Okis, 7ish months, 1 rinse.  Pictures suck, and the fading on these is super gradual (which is fine--just means I can pull them off with nicer outfits til the rivets break through)

And some regular Okis, 9ish months, 2 rinses.  Texas summer bicycle seat assfade.

  4. I like nice denim, but it's hot as fuck in Texas. So 9 months out of the year I just wear shorts. And I only have one pair, which are $10 Rustlers I bought for work pants a year and a half ago. Not the prettiest, but I've machine washed them probably a dozen times, given them a few rinses, gone swimming in them a lot, and gotten them super dirty.

  5. Been busy all summer, and I only wear my pants to work, so I have to make a point of it to get photos of them. Also, not much has changed. They were coming along pretty well until I did a (cold) machine wash. They're still making progress, but it's a lot slower now. Been wearing them ~50 hours a week or so, biking probably 20 miles a week in them. They're holding up pretty well aside from a tear at the cuff that I'll have to tend to. Sorry about the weird photos. Oh, and since I get this question every time I post, these are the black ones.

This is my "back yard," which is why I was limited in places to take photos

  6. every day! get it on!

i listen to greg proops, and doug benson's doug loves movies, too. how about you?

Every day, as well. I would love if his idea for "AIDS Butler" got made into a show. His is the only podcast I listen to frequently, but I listen to Alison's podcast some, too, and most of the time I catch "This American Life" it's via podcast. I tried to catch his stand-up in Austin last fall, but someone bought a shitload of tickets and then listed them on Stubhub for about triple face value, so I didn't go. Excited that he's started live podcasts again, though. I'd love to see a podcast tour.
