  1. I was making reference to New York since you said you were moving there.

On a side note anybody have a good review of Clark Desert Lynx Boots? Can they survive a winter?

you must've mistaken me for another person, because I wasn't the one saying I'd move to NY

  2. Well this is completely irrelevant to sizing but honestly i'd stay away from the Ralph Laurens, there nice ....however they are getting raped its a very big thing over here a lot of people are wearing them i recommend the chukkas there sick and you would be one of the many few wearing them.

    where is 'here'?

I dont see them in cali often, cuz our weather usually isn't cold enough.

  3. mmm maybe so but the only reason i soaked/dried them so much was because I was trying to get them down to size.. I pretty much fucked up their whole process of fading but I was doing so to figure out what size I should have gotten.

Still unsure between the 31/32. your feedback is appreciated.

  4. I was looking at the ronnie fieg x polo ranger boots and the greys are nice. Personally, i think burgundy gives you a better range of clothes you could wear it with, but i cant stop looking at the greys.

they're all sold out on davidz though, from my understanding it was a limited run that won't be coming back, can somebody confirm?

  5. I've been contemplating a pair of boots lately but im afraid that they wont look good on my rather stocky 5'8" frame. Most pics wearing boots that look good have that real skinny fit to their jeans that stacks into their already high topped boots.

am i just being paranoid? Anybody have the same issue? What brands can combat my fear? lol

  6. I soaked them in hot water for 30 minutes out of the box, then dried it on high heat for 30 minutes, it didn't do much. Then, after wearing them 2 days, I soaked them again (this time for only a minute or less as to not lose more dye), and popped em in the dryer for 20-25 for that damp feel (to make faster honeycombs). Once the denim stretched out in the knees and I got the desired honeycombs I wanted, I threw them in the dryer AGAIN for 30 minutes just to shrink the cotton down after all that stretching. Finally, they fit slightly tighter than out of the box, but I still have a good 1-1.5 inches in the waist that I can pull out. Needless to say, they're snug at the moment but they could definitely be tighter since I know they'll stretch out more with time.

honestly, I'm having a hard time figuring out which size is right for me. i could be either a 31 or 32" in ST-100x. SE's website says the denim can stretch up to 1.5", so if I wear a tagged 31... will that bring me to a true size of 34"? If I choose a 32, that brings me to a 35"? I bought a 33" by accident at SESF, so I'm opting to purchase another pair for a slimmer fit, but which one...

the dye is actually much darker than that still; the flash is deceiving.

  7. I bought these back in March 09, alongside my SJDJs. I went ahead and started wearing in the SJDJs and never got around to rocking the eccru embros much. Getting rid of them because I have other raw denim I'd rather work on. They've been worn maybe 10x or less, never been washed or soaked or hemmed.

Excuse the LQ images, I only had my blackberry to work with since my camera is with my mom. The denim is actually much darker than the pictures show, I believe the flash altered the true color. I'll try to get better pics up soon.

I'm asking for $130 shipped. I only accept paypal, and will ship within the contiguous United States (unless shipping is cheap to Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada).
