  1. I'm not sure you want to keep those... you might not even have gotten all the shrinkage out.  And if they're already tight it might be even more uncomfortable in the end.  pics would probably help

I think you are right itsbenhere, I can't imagine there being enough stretch in those thighs to give me a satisfactory fit. I was hoping someone here would talk me into keeping them.

If anyone is interested, a new pair of Strike Golds 2105 in Sz 33 is available in the marketplace.

  2. For sale is a brand new pair of the Strike Gold 2105 jeans in a size 33 and one wash. Asking $275. This pains me to sell but they are too tight for my triathlon thighs. I wore these for all of an hour debating whether or not to keep. They are in immaculate condition.

PM if interested or have questions.

  3. That makes me feel better. I will stick it out.  This denim is crazy.  The roughest denim I have ever had. And I have had lots of denim and never once the same brand. Feels like course sandpaper.

  4. Need some advice.  Just soaked/dried a pair of 2105s, and they fit well everywhere except the thigh is skin tight. How well does the thigh area stretch? Please say a lot as I really want to keep these.

  5. I purchased 3 Tezomeya Loopwheel t-shirts and they are unfortunately a bit too large for me.  Instead of sending them back, I thought it may be more cost effective to try and sell them on here. They fit somewhere between a Large and XL and are BNWT.

  6. Can anyone get the Ooe blog link on their page to come up with pics? They have pics up of what they are working on this week and they are working on my jeans.....but I can't get the pics to load.

  7. you obviously haven't heard demo 2. nor AYKT, apparently.

Unless he is namedropping, which I doubt b/c his name is Champion666, I am sure he has heard And You Know This.....

  8. I understand what you are saying, but to me it is so petty. I can skip over posts without reading, if they are not relevant. Why don't people get upset about things like "looks good" or "great fit"? I am just saying I enjoy when new people are interested in something like Samurai Jeans, and I do not blame them for not wanting to look through everything to find a simple answer. But I appreciate your response, and I can see where you are coming from, I just disagree.

  9. search the entire thread, do your self some favor before throwing a question, that's how ;)

One thing I never understood is why people get so upset when someone new asks a question....not to say I post a lot. But I know what I like, and I like to read these forums to read and see how people feel about their jeans, because I am a jean freak. Why does everyone get upset when people do not scour through a ridiculous amount of pages on a thread to get answers to simple questions? We are here for a reason, and I love helping anyone find a great pair of jeans they enjoy wearing. As far as I am concerned, we are small group that enjoys a subject that not many understand, why can't we just answer the questions and enjoy the new posts we could have here?

  10. It is a noob question, but how else do you learn if you don't ask. Anyway, if you see some jeans in Rakuten then email the store and ask if they will ship to US before buying, if not find 'em somewhere else or proxy.

  11. What is the name of the place in Taiwan, I believe, that you can order Samurais from? I think it has a number in the title, but I can't find it anywhere and I am drawing a blank.
