all the boards here are all imported from america. but they dont have that many brands. off the top of my head, u can get all of dwindle dists stuff (enjoi,almost, blind, darkstar) girl, toy machine, and chocolate. skateboarding as u can expect is no where near as big in america, and its smaller than japan. so all the decks are priced accordingly, the cheapest u can get a deck for is like 70k and the american brand boards are gonna be around 90k. which is like 20-30 usd more than ur used to.

shoes too are hella expensive, and if ur bigger than a size 9.5 good luck finding shoes. if u like fallen shoes, ill take u to a spot that sells them really cheap tho lol. i think they are fake, but they seem to hold up well enuff. ull soon find out that the majority of korean skaters wear fallens haha. and speaking of japan, they opened up a murasaki sports here :-D but its in pyeongtaek, hour 20 away from seoul, and the worst price gouger of all the korean skate shops lol.

I think i'll pack one or two in the bottom of my duffle...i have gotten really used to Black Box wood and i can't give that up that easily..and maybe carry on an extra pair of indy's too. Airport security will probably pitch a bitch about the trucks though...saying that they are some sort of gnarly homemade bomb.

I'm in luck with my feet. size 8. ha! fallens are good shoes...but they get a bad rap in the states because emo mall douche kids wear them sometimes. sick team though

i am fully backing your Yeeun love. I will probably get alot of shit for this...but she is the only one that can really hit the hard notes well....at least live. hitting the hard notes in the studio isn't really the same. sohee live is almost laughable.

i think a couple years back the wonder girls teamed up with big bang and did a 'tell me'/'lies' double live performance. yeeun puts the other 9 people on stage to shame. she's great.

CL's verse on G-Dragon's album is definitely sick. i think the track is called the leaders....number 8 on the real album. that album has grown on me...i will venture to say it is actually good. CL really put it over the top with a bad ass flow.

i just read this entire thread over the course of two days at work. fantastic. some great contributions here, Dis, Dizz, shimshim, scairs thomas ahlvahroe....funny stuff.

Wondergirls - 3rd Project i-tunes it

Lee Hyo Ri - It's Hyorish---this album is awesome, way better than the one before, Dark Angel. buy it off e-bay...or come to Seoul and snag it up at COEX hahaha. This is seriously a dope ass album. if you do not speak korean this is probably one of the most accessible (and best) Kpop albums, since Hyori does alot of her hooks in english...and the beats are great.

Kwon Boa - Girls on Top

소녀시대 Girl's Generation - i like the self titled one from a couple years back, but lately they have a couple new "mini" albums..each with 5 or 6 tracks each, one was called Gee and i forget what the other one was called.

MC Mong - dude is sick and has a new one out that i have yet to stop by and pick up, but his one from 2008 called "Show's just begun" is super dope. MC Mong is really good

Big Bang - alot of these dudes have done solo stuff, but i would start out with their album from last year called "Remember" they have a new out supposedly this year....but Daesung (one of the singers) was in a gnarly accident a short while ago. he had to get face surgery. so the new album may be pushed back to 2010

there are countless others but i think this ought to do for now, enjoy chingu!

why the yeeun hate? i think alot of it lately is her hairstyle, but when it's done right she's pretty on point, much better than some members of other groups, completely agree on yubin...she's even hotter in person O_O

Yeah SNSD is pretty popular around here, not my favorite but i can see why. Jeesica Jung and Kwon Yuri are insanely hot...Seohyun is super good looking as well, and she can dance. Musically the group is sorta lame though.

The Wondergirls (post 'Tell Me' and pre 'Nobody') are great. They are all hot except for Ye Eun. how did she even get in this group? Kim Yu Bin is one of the hottest chicks in all of Kpop. so sexy.
