I'm looking to sell my sz28 skull 5010xx. These are the old production run. I bought them back in August 2009 and wore them for a few weeks then threw them in my closet. They are practically brand new, very minimal fading. Almost no folds. The factory folds are still there.

I can ship or if you are going to be in NYC between March 7th-12th you can meet me and I'll give them to you in person.

I've been beating the hell out of my 3001's and in about a month or so a bunch of stitching blew on my back pocket. So I decided to do some preemptive repairs. My gf gave me the woman's touch and all in all I'm really happy with how they turned out.

The red threading was her idea and I think I'm going to continue to reinforce with red on stitching. Gives them character I think

I just wish we didn't procrastinate and I took them during the day, there was very little lighting in the room so you can't see the fades.

Bout 3 months of wear, initial hotsoak. TTS. Pictures taken with no flash.

The rips, there is another along the top. Doesn't seem like much but considering the jeans are really young and they came up over the course of a month...

Anyone interested in a trade? They are barely worn, very very minor fading. Knee bags haven't developed yet and combs are very small.

I gained a bit of weight a size up would do me good.

The Flathead 3001. On rotation, probably about 2.5-3 months of wear. 1 hotsoak. I've been destroying these jeans lately. Most of the fading has been in the past month. I love these things. Easily my favourite pair.

APC NS. On rotation. Probably about 5 months of wear. 1 Soak 1 Wash

These pictures don't do them justice at all, they are starting to fade really well and I don't have the camera anymore to try and take better pictures. Still looks nice though. In a few months these are going to be wicked.

These are my favourite jeans by far. The denim is just beautiful and the fading contrast looks like water in the sunlight. If you are on the fence about these, get them.

Probably the jacket, it was a gift I got a year ago or so, it's not sized 100%. I just felt like wearing it that day.

So I think I'm going to go ahead and order them online. Would be nice to try on some Aldens but the profile of the GTs is starting to grow on me a lot.

Yeah it was a dick move but they were asking 359.99+13% tax (ON SALE!!!!) for them.

Found a red wing dealer in Toronto that sells GTs, went to go try them on and fell in love almost instantly. They are asking a ridiculous price for them so I didn't buy them on the spot but here are fit pics at the shoe store.

Jeans are flathead 3001

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a pair of boots for the winter and I'm having a really hard time deciding.

My main problem is I live in Toronto, so its really difficult to try things on because I can't find them in the city. For example the closest Alden dealer is 2-3 hours away in another city.

I was looking at something semi-dress. The main boots I'm interested in is the Red Wing GT, Alden Indy, or White's SD.

So here is where my concern is, I'm tall-ish (5,11) and pretty skinny (140) and most of my jeans and clothes are pretty slim (APC NS, Skull 5010, Flathead 3001) so without trying the shoes on I have no idea how my silhouette will look like.

I'm not exactly stuck on semi-dress either, I'm willing to look into other styles of boot if you think they might look good!

I usually dress pretty casual, jeans, chucks, a nice button down or some layers (knits, pullovers, hoodies)

Can anyone recommend me anything or give me any advice?

Akr, the only difference is the f310 uses cotton/poly stitching ( as opposed to just cotton).

Looking for a fairly new pair, preferably not soaked but I'll take soaked as well if you give me post soak measurements.

Not looking for anything that has been worn for over a week or two... I want to fade them myself

Whats the difference between the f310 and the 3001 other than the material?

Like does it feel any different, fade any different, etc

What happened to the F310 flathead model? It's gone off the website
