Ran into a couple jerks at the Rose Bowl. Shoving kids and bossing people around.

MIni update on the Lariat. Tied the Honda knot. Finished the loose end with a semi fancy stopper knot.

This morning we let a butterfly go. My son had got a caterpillar at a bug fair. Really cool looking thing. Still is. He was really sad about having to let it go.

A quick question: When doing prototypes for new pieces (ex. bags) do you try out the pattern and fit using muslin? Or something sturdier like denim?

I use a paper grocery bag and scotch tape. But I make small stuff.

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments. I am a very lucky guy to have such a great wife and kids.

Yeah the pants have stretched a bit. Think they were extra tight after the wash. But walking around and morning bike rides have loosened then up some.
