  1. I did not have the money for these when released and even though it has not sold much in other sizes, that two sizes that I would go for have been sold out. Looking for size 32 ideally, but would settle for size 31.

Get at me if you have a pair in decent nick to sell me. Cheers!

  2. These have been warm soaked and have an unaltered hem. I tried them on postsoak and after they were completely dry to see if they fit, alas they are too big. I'm selling them with the intention of purchasing a size 32 from Self Edge. Help me out! Get a discount!

Price is $400USD SOLD. They will only be for sale as long as Self Edge has size 32s available. If SE sells out, I'll keep 'em until I put on weight. Also open to trade for size 32. Cheers!

  3. This was posted by Giles over at the IH Forum and was printed on a card I received with my annies...

The following is Haraki’s advice on how to treat your Ih-634SR before you wear them:

"This denim is not processed. It will shrink and skew. I have made this pattern "shrink to fit", after washing or soaking a couple of times it will shrink to tag-size

When you get your jeans, soak them in a bath tub of cold water overnight. Turn them inside out and then wash them in a washing machine at no hotter than 30 degrees C, you do not need washing powder or detergent

Don't spin too fast and don't put them in a tumble dryer, it is far better to allow them to air dry (still inside-out) in the sun, try to smooth all wrinkles in the fabric before the jeans get too dry

After the initial soak, the leg will shrink about 2", after the wash, there will be further shrinkage of about 1". So in total you will get about 3" shrinkage. Please bear this in mind if you are hemming before washing”

On subsequent washes, always wash inside out and do not spin too fast or tumble dry.

if there's a slot provided for our belt why don't we use it? :)

well, there's a lot of ripped IH patch whether the owner use a thick or thin belt, but it's a part of your jeans history and you can re-sew it yourself :)

This. Sometimes patches rip and they do for a variety of reasons. Mine happened to be one of them. As repairs go, you'd be hard pressed to find a simpler one. Besides I was probably being dull and pulling my pants up by the belt, if anything.

  5. Guys guys... again I have to agree with Kiya.

Also bear in mind that people like Kiya do their utmost to provide a top notch service as well as offering you these jewels. Bear this in mind!

At the stores, you can try without buying, feel the product, compare the products, get advice from experts, you immediately can take your item home, you will have an excellent after sales service and so on...

At the end of the ride, you've got your item at the same price and as a bonus you'll get all the advantages mentioned above!

Agreed and I wish I could get to SE or MF. An SF or LA trip isn't, unfortunately, in my immediate future. SE has a better exchange policy than rakuten, in the end

  6. 51450 Japanese yen = 629.2798 US dollars. Just looking at the cost of the jacket. Not all the BS to get it here. I want to know if the 240 difference is added because all the taxes, duties, reach arounds, etc, etc.. have been paid.

    Yes, distribution can mean $$$.

  7. Proxying the Troy N1-H from japan appears to be less expensive than placing an order with SE or MF in the states. Are there any appreciable differences between the 'one wash' Rakuten item and the, pressumably, unwashed SE/MF item? Anecdotes welcome.

Greatest apologies for any annoyance caused, as I gather this has been asked and answered before. My search got nothin'. Cheers.

  8. The cards could certainly be damaged via some other means also, but if they spend most of their time in your wallet, which in turn spends most of it's time in your pocket and you aren't accidentaly exposing them to some kind of electromagnetism, maybe it is the wallet.

IMO, placing balme on the wallet, however, seems weird.

    My turn for a question:

Anybody know what the present turn around time for a Natural Card Holder is? Cheers.

  9. Fuck!!! It's highly difficult to buy a flannel at this point where I live because it practically changes into really warm weather right after winter ends. Ahh.....

+1 Sometimes I hate living in a two season zone.
