I fucking care because he lied about the condition and took my money. What the fuck do you care?

It's not your or anyone else's damn business but the guy won't man up and talk to me.

And where the fuck does it say that all sufu sales are final? He sure as fuck didn't state this in his sale thread.

Why the fuck should I have to get it cleaned?

I paid exactly what he asked for it, which is a lot more than I'd pay for a fucking jacket with spots all over it.

  2. choice

I'd really rather not do this in your sale thread but this seems to be the only way you'll communicate with me.

Before I bought the jacket I wrote you:

Just a last check, no flaws or other surprises I should expect

to find. Never really been burned on a sufu purchase but have had a

few issues where things I would have expected to have been described

on items weren't... Just being safe. I'll get the payment done

straight away once I'm off work

    Cheers, Aaron

    and you replied

Nope, it's hardly been worn but a few times. Is your paypal address verified?

and this is what I got: (more pics here: LINK. I'm not a pro photographer but I think you can see well enough)

Some of the spots are smudgy and light like bleach, the most noticeable on the front lower left hand side. Some are a dark stain, the most noticeable on the back right shoulder area. There are at least 10-12 spots scattered around.

I can't understand how you think it's right to keep my money?

I'm going to ship the jacket back to you. I'm not going to ask you to pay for the shipping costs. I'll cc you on the shipping with a USPS Priority tracking number and you'll get it Thursday.

    Cheers, Aaron

  3. Hey choice, I wish you'd call me, or answer when I call you, or reply to my messages.

I would be very careful buying from choice. I bought this Buzz Tanker jacket from him recently. It took him 9 days to ship it and the jacket has spots all over it. Before I bought it I asked him directly if it had any flaws or surprises and he denied any. He refuses to refund my money because he says it's a used jacket, he won't respond to messages, and he won't answer his phone.

  4. I would avoid selling to user abenner. After selling him aforementioned jacket I recieved an email requesting that I send him his money back and only then would he return the product in question. He sent me several laughable pictures of stains that I wasn't aware existed (and am still not convinced of their existence) and then called me about a billion times while I was at work. After talking to a moderator and finding out my rights as a seller, I informed him that he would in fact not be getting a refund.

This was after he threatened to straight up "chargeback" me, which is (according to google) pretty much a guaranteed kiss of death considering paypal will almost always side with a buyer as opposed to a seller and the seller will almost always be left in the red with unwanted bank charges in order to level out the undue debt.

    choice,

The first time I called you and told you about the spots on the jacket that you didn't tell me about when you sold it, you were at work and had to go and said you'd contact me. I left it at that and didn't hear from you for two days by email or phone. What do you expect to happen? I'm calling your cell number, the only number I have, and I don't know when you're at work. It's not like I'm calling early in the morning or late at night? What's wrong with trying to call you? We could discuss this like men if you'd answer, or you could call me, you have my number.

I simply asked for a refund and I'd ship the jacket back to you and I'd pay for shipping and avoid all this pissing around. You never asked me to ship it back first.

I told you'd I'd have to dispute the charge if you wouldn't refund the money because the jacket was not as you described it. What other choice do I have? You still refused a refund, so here we are. How about you call me?

btw, hope it doesn't sound like I'm trashing the SR's or IH... I'm wearing my own SR's right now, about the only time I don't wear them is when I gotta put my chinos on for work. I've had mine since November and the fades are coming along but my denim life isn't too exciting. I feel like I couldn't wear these things out in two years if my life depended on it. But then I don't ride a bike.

So what are the thoughts on repairs in this contest? I suppose it goes both ways? I mean if you can tear up some super heavy denim, much respect, right? But there's also a long term durability thing going on here too...

Casey, I think your SR's put you in both first and last place simultaneously!

  6. the first day i wore them was Nov. 30.. ive worn them almost everyday (i think there has been 3 days i didn't)

ive had a lot of jeans...a lot. and im pretty hard on them (skateboarding, riding my bike, etc) but i have never come across a jean that fades as fast as these.. they look killer! im almost afraid to see what happens if i wash them soon.

Richard from LOST just walked by my store..weird..

sorry i got distracted...um yeah they fade fast..and they are super comfortable.

christ, that's less than 3 months and your SR's have required all those repairs? hard on jeans is one thing, fast fading is one thing, but any pair of respectable jeans (let alone supadupa heavy IH denim) should be holding up better than that...

I assume you gave them a good soak when you got them? I heard of another guy's SR's kinda falling apart on him, but he never soaked them... the denim is so rough in the raw loomstate that it needs a real good soak to start off with

  7. I knew I would get some flak for asking this question, sorry if I incovienced any of you.

I think the flak is because the Beatle Busters are made by Iron Heart, thus your question didn't really make sense.

  8. Do the 9301's ever get soft and lose that cardboard feel?

i've lost enough weight to squeeze my fatass into mine again, but feeling the wrath of 22oz denim....

I understand that 301's use softer denim than the 9301, just wondering if anyone can chime in...

My 9301s feel much softer then my 634sr and I haven't even worn the 9301s much yet. I think the 9301 denim has much softer hand to it, especially the inner face, I find them very comfortable.

I did give mine a delicate cold machine wash when I first got them, then put them on damp and wore them for about three days straight, doing squats and lunges and shit. Maybe try a machine wash. It's not like your gonna lose color or screw up fades with the superblack.

    1. Sugar Cane 1947 jeans tagged 34x34

    Price: $100 net to me

Measurements using Giles of Iron Heart's method described here.

    Waist 34.5

    Front rise 12

    Rear rise 16.5

    Thigh 13

    Knee 9.5

    Hem 9

    Inseam 33.5

I bought these new at Denim Bar in Bethesda, MD, they were the unsanforized version. I wore them as much as I could for about 6 months, and now they've not been worn for about a year. I've lost quite a bit of weight and as much as I love these, I can't wear them. I tried to show the condition as much as I could in the pics. Sorry these were taken under fluorescent lighting. The most accurate color are those shots where the denim looks a brighter blue. They've got some wear but also have lots of wear left in them. I soaked them when I got them, soaked them two other times, and gave them one hard (machine) wash and sun dry. Probably the most significant wear is on the back of the legs where they were cuffed. Crotch is in fine shape as shown.

I bought these new from the History Preservation site. Lots of nice details on these as expected. I haven't worn them much, two washes I believe, they show minimal wear. The hem is not a chain stitch but is a fine job in excellent shape. Sorry I probably should have pressed them before the pics.

Prices listed are net to me, in other words, after paypal fees (if applicable) and shipping. I'm willing to ship internationally. In the US shipping will be about $10, 2 days to most anywhere in the country. International probably about $30, but depends.

I'm not very active here on the forum but have bought and sold a few things. Also lots of feedback buying and selling camera gear (mostly nice Leica stuff) here: LINK.

  10. ********SOLD********

For sale: Sorel x Concepts 1964 Premium boots

    Size: 10

    Price: $150 net to me

Stock photo shown, I'll post some pics tonight.

Here's the link to the product page: LINK

These are a bit too large for me, which means they run about a half size larger than tagged. They're otherwise great and I'd have exchanged them but they're sold out. They show only light wear, just some wear while shoveling the drive.

They include a felt innerboot and three laces: black nylon, red leather, gray leather. Box and all included.

Price is net to me. I'm not very active here, but have plenty of feedback buying and selling camera gear (mostly nice Leica stuff) here: LINK.

Dior 19cm black MIJ - $150 net to me

    front rise 10.5

    rear rise 15.25

    thigh 12

    knee 9

    hem 8.25

    inseam 38

I gave them one warm soak and air dry when I got them and have not hard washed them. Worn them probably 20 times. They show some light wear and have never been soiled. Light contrast whiskering just beginning. Most of the noticeable wear is at the lower legs where they've almost always been cuffed. Never hemmed. Lots of life left in these.

Paypal preferred, price net to me. (If there's fees, you cover.) Priority shipping in US $9. Shipping elsewhere at cost.

  12. MORE PICS HERE: http://bit.ly/30PwW1

For sale: Dior Homme black Made in Japan denim jeans, 19cm cut, tagged size 32.

Just bought these at style forum but they're too small. They show mild wear, including some light whiskering and wear from stacking and mild wear on the hems especially near the heal, where the denim is lightened but not fraying.

I took a dozen pics of the jeans in their current condition, which show things better than I can describe them. I'll paste a few pics here and you can find the rest at http://bit.ly/30PwW1

I'm new to the forum but have 100% feedback on ebay, user jlb1228, having sold quite a bit of reasonbly expensive camera gear there. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask.

Priced reasonably at $209, which is what I paid for them. I'll cover paypal fees and shipping for US buyers.
