  1. So I found out my local clothing shop/boutique has been selling selvedge jeans for about 3-4 months, I went to check them out and I liked the fit!

Has anyone heard anything about it? Not a denim expert though, only got some skulls right now, but what do you guys think? The price IS right so i'll prob get a pair anyways but just throwing it out there

The store is called UNIV, its in Encinitas CA, pretty cool shop and everything I've bought from there has been quality stuff.

    heres the blog for pictures

  2. got some skull 5010xx today!

I tried them on and the fit is about spot on, but I havent soaked them yet and the knee is a tad restraining on my knee if I were to lift it up high. Kinda dumb I know, but the knee should stretch out some with wear correct?

  3. yeah unfortunately too big. Sizing up one for me usually works for other slim jeans, but not this time I guess.

just toss them in the wash on hot and get the shrinkage out they will be good!

they had just been hotsoaked for 45 min so I don't think another hotsoaking again with achieve much? just assuming, hence the questions.

  4. 710xx I just got, size 33.

    Postsoak, was about 45 minutes

I'm a 32, but decided to size up for the 710s. They fit well on

the waist, but the knee and below is less slim than I had hoped,

even without the stacks. Any ideas? I didn't find any 710s in 31 or 32.

Maybe taper, I dont think hotsoaking again would do much significant change?

If so, besides the chainstitching could most tailors do the taper?
