Guys, it’s about time we got our own Toronto gathering, so here it is, done and done.

Come on out and meet up with the usual suspects for some drinks and good times.

    Date:  Thursday October 23rd, 7pm 2014

Location: Nicolas Menswear, 153 Cumberland in Yorkville (next to Nespresso), (416) 966-2064.

Nicolas is the fantastic owner, and his team including Justin and Andrew. These guys are friendly, knowledgeable, and low pressure. The store is big and carries a carefully curated selection stuff I know you guys will like. The have brands you just don't see anywhere else - Jil Sander, Neil Barett, Margiela, Lanvin, Boglioli, and there might even be a surprise rack of old stock Yohji. Oh and they also have a whole store next door of beautiful womenswear in the same brands so bring your lady friends.

Time: 7-9:30pm, and feel free to come and go as you please.

To Bring: yourself and significant others or friends/family that have an interest in menswear.

If you have any comments or questions just post ‘em here or PM me. Please RSVP by posting in the thread here or through PM just to let me know if you think you'll be there so I can get a sense of headcount for refreshment purposes.

Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you there!

    M.C. / Daniel

Up for grabs, I have some burgundy/wine colored khaki style pants made by Club Monaco (owned by Polo). Really nice color and I've seen quite a few people in various WAYW's with these. Pics below for examples.

Please PM or post here to check for availability as they're priced to move. I respond within a day and usually get items pulled and shipped within a couple of days. I will respond ASAP.

These are NWT of course. Made in Egypt. Retail is about $100 with taxes. Asking price is $30 + $10 shipping to North America or $14 International (shipping cost is actually a bit higher but I'll cover it, more like $15-16).

Paypal only please and "personal" or 4% added on top.

I've bought and sold many times and have been a member here for a while, but at other places much longer. There's about 70 people who can vouch for me here, and more on other sites.

    Description:

I'd call these a "regular" cut, not that slim and for sure not "skinny". Appropriate for business casual and could easily be worn as is or slimmed down further for more of a streetwear look. Great fall color!

    Measurements:

This pic is a little too dark, but close to true color:

TRUE COLOR probably best represented here:

Fit Pic (note, color not true in this pic)

*Note - they're not cuffed as shown in the pics, this is my pair for reference. Those spots are just dust with the flash

It probably wouldnt even matter what the hell you're wearing, I think your photography helps a lot. I do mostly like what you've got going on though. Anything special about the camera?

    a really old hare shirt

levis sta prest x ships jet blue

    MTO trickers longwing galosh boots

I like the color combos. Probably would have gone with a softer bag though, that blocky shiny thing just doesn't mesh with the rest IMO.

    Visvim, AA, Levi's, CP

I think I'm coming round to those varsity jackets. Nice one.

  4. Mmmm, so glad I joined! I forgot how perverted you guys all are. Alright, I'll take that little bit of abuse like a man. Obviously I missed something at the last little get together... really, there's no need to tell me, I'd rather not know.

Anway, if there are any legit meetups that happen I'd be interested.

PS - I'm not entirely a noob, I've been around on S.F. and AAAC, I just figured I'd give SuFu a shot, hoping it won't crash every few days.

  5. Hi I wonder if you can help me. I saw a guy earlier today who was wearing a pair of selvedge jeans. The question I have is about the arcs.

The arcs were just like levi's, but rotated 180 degrees (so they looked upside down) and then rotated maybe another 45 degrees so they looked like they were on an angle.

Now I know i should've asked him, but I was in a rush - does anyone here know which brand they were?

    these?

  6. Are Jack Spade bags homo steez? And are Filson bags played out in NY? Must know asap. Need briefcase for internship, northface will not cut it.

You're looking at two pretty different styles of bags there... see if this thread helps...

My recomendations, for slightly dressier ones...

  7. Where to find decent slim trousers? Not chinos, more dressy.

I cannot not find any for the life of me.

Try getting some more traidional dress pants but look for the more crazy patterns, think paul smith, etro, ralph lauren etc with checks, stripes, etc...

I find Club Monaco often has this sort of thing, fun patterns, slim fit wool pants, and every season there's a bunch that end up on sale for $20...
