Let me tell you from experience -- you don't want to go too small with PS, and that is mostly because of the low rise. You'll either get some crazy dick bulge or you'll have to show your crack...

If you are looking for slim just go for NS and size down as much as you can...that extra rise will do you wonders...

Not really...but those I could button all the way up even at the store, so that might be why. If they are still crispy, you should be okay.

Joweee: I bought mine at the APC store (off Melrose) and they took back my NC and swapped 'em for the PS....I brought the jeans back the next day but had worn them for a couple of hours.

Just smooth out the back of the knees and stuff and it should be okay.

They did take a hard look at the jeans, though. But were really cool about it.

What sucks about when people steal old, common cars is that they usually do it for parts and stuff.

BUT, when I lived in the East Bay, both friends who had cars stolen recovered them in a few days...with just some damage and stuff...

With all due respect, if you are going to invest time and money into these jeans, you might as well get a tape measure...you can get a cheap one from any drugstore or hardware store...

What size are those?

Well, I have NS in 31, PS in 32, and am planning to buy NC in 33 in the distant future.

BUT, PS in 32 is a little loose in the waist, as would the NC in 33...I have muscular thighs so that is what I am going by...

Those actually look like they're going to be perfect after a hot soak, if anything even a hair TOO slim.

Haha, Kiya you caught me stressing again! But now that you've seen the fit I feel pretty safe hemming and soaking. Thanks again for all of your help.

Also -- waist isn't as tight as it looks right there...I could probably fit a golf ball comfortably, maybe more. Thanks again.

Okay! So, I received my SE05BSPs today in this size:

And man are they incredible! This is my first FH and it has knocked my socks off.

But when I measured the waist, it measured this size:

That is 37"! On the SE site it says 35". I can't figure it out because all of the other dimensions match. Is this new batch sized differently? Actually, 37" makes more sense relative to the tagged size, but I thought they were going to come 35".

My waist is about 35.5". Here is a fit pic.

The t-shirt hides it but it is a little loose in the waist ...when I walk it is like walking with a loose shell around my lower torso. BUT, not too bad everywhere else (though not nearly as slim as my PS in 32 and NS in 31...which I am okay with).

Will this shrink to a decently slim size? I plan a nice, long hot soak.

Also, did anyone else find the waist different from what is posted this time around -- or am I doing something wrong?

I talked to Kiya about this, but I don't want to drive him crazy with a million emails, so I thought I'd throw it out there.

Measurements?

Anyone ever go and get their apcs seems reinforced with a tougher thread? my thighs seem to be streching the outside so the seem threads are starting to show abit

I have that same issue...the outer seam in the upper thigh starts to pull alarmingly loose after just a couple of wears. However, I've had mine for months now and they haven't shown any sign that they'll tear open. I'm going to leave mine alone...

I think that fit is pretty good -- would definitely not size down.

If he were looking to get rid of all loose fabric I'm sure he would have chosen NC.

the black coated looks pretty ill. if only they made a denim jacket to match with it for a good price point.

Ditto on that denim jacket comment -- I'd buy that for sure, though it wouldn't be like anything 3sixteen usually does.

Also, for those who bought the ST-210 black coated, what is the sheen like on that? I don't have much experience with coated denim...I wouldn't want it to look like leather pants! :eek:

Did anyone have any success shrinking the thighs more than than .5"?

I wonder if more than one hot soak would do it or if that is the max you can get out of them...

I've been wearing my PS for months and I can barely take them off with the fly completely unbuttoned!

Nah, just kidding, sort of. I have runner's thighs so that's where the difficulty comes from.

If you can slide them off like that, then they sound a little loose -- depends on how you like them to fit. How do the jeans actually measure compared to your waist?

Anyone have any fit pics of black PS? Also, where to cop?

I was at the APC store in L.A. and the sales clerk told me that the blacks are being discontinued for both NS and PS.

Really sad because I was looking to grab a pair of black NS in 31, but I think they only had really small and really large left. They have quite a bit of black PS though. You can call them and order by phone, I think.
