Which LVC 501 has a higher rise? 1947 or 1966? How much of a difference for a W36 tag?

1947 has a higher rise. My tagged W 36 LVC1947 from 2006 has a 12.5 inch rise, my LVC1966 from 2008 has a 11.7 inch rise.

@ThomasK: my experience in the flagship store in Berlin (about half a year ago) was totally different. They were very friendly, and the guy got really excited when he found out that I know about LVC

They have hidden rivets and a paper patch - so no 47s or 66s. I guess Dr. Heech and Paul T are right in that they are 55s, although the arcuate is extremely shallow for a 55.

Can somebody identify these Valencia Street 501's from Febr. 2001? Cut is like 55's, but arcuate is more shallow.

Has anybody got a pair of the 1966's? And if so how was the sizing? Do they shrink TO tag or shrink FROM tag?

I do have a pair of 66's from 2008. Tagged W 36, measure after several washes 36.2
