  1. I don't see how the drumming is anywhere near good enough to be even filmed... He looses his tempo frequently and has no theme in the way he hits the toms and snare.

Seriously? The dude is one of jazz's most desirable young drummers.

  2. Does Uniqlo in Soho still carry the 4.95 packet tees? I read somewhere that they discontinued it. Can anyone shed some light?

They have 4.95 "Dry" shirts in packs. They're supposed to wick sweat off your skin. Feel about the same as the old shirts.

  3. Great choices, Sub. I agree on the designs. Great, bold designs, usually with some great use of negative space. You could definitely seek out the LPs and frame them and hang them normally, or make if you coudl make a large 3x3 "panel" of using 9 of your favorites.

I don't know where to get prints of the album covers, but if you've got $$$ to burn on this you could seek out some Herman Leonard prints. He has some amazing stuff on his site: http://www.hermanleonard.com/

The Rock Archive (http://www.rockarchive.com) also has photo prints of mostly rock musicians with some jazz icons in there (Miles...)

  4. ^i must be doing them wrong then because whenever i do them focusing on the chest, i noticed they seemed to work that "inner/inbetween" region a lot more...damn

Well at a certain point if you feel it working for you then just keep on going with it.

  5. Can't say I know the science behind it, but apparently dips are a superior exercise, since the range of motion on decline bench is lower. Supplementing a normal chest routine with dips should help develop the lower and outer portions of the pecs.

  6. Does anyone have any tips on doing dead lifts? Dead lifts work out your whole back correct? I saw some dead lift videos on youtube, but i still think i'm doing it wrong. Anyone have any good tutorial videos for it?

Since we're talking about squatings, i wanted to ask if it works out your whole body? I was once told that squating not only works out your legs, but also your back and biceps too.

Deadlifts primarily workout your lowerback and hamstrings, but your quads and trapezius are involved as well (the function of the trapezius is to help keep you entire body upright, so the deadlift is a better workout for it than shrugs).

For form you want to keep your back straight and drive through your heels (not your toes). keep your head up and it will help keep your back straight. I don't have a good video to fall back on though.

For a fuller back also do some rows, T-bar pulls, pull-ups, etc.

Squatting sort of works out your whole body in that you're tense. Your core is certainly heavily involved. It also stimulates your entire body to repair muscles since youre working your largest muscle group (legs)

  7. damn, cant wait to see weather in concert

You won't be disappointed. Just caught them in Boston and they nailed it...

I'm wondering about their jackets as well... if anyone knows.
