I'm convinced it's impossible to fit into APCs that have been sized down 4. I'm a 28-29, sized down 2 (to 27) thinking that was playing it safe, and I cut my finger trying to get the second button done the very first time I wore them. And I would re-open the cut every time I had to pull out my wallet from my pocket, or get out my cell phone. To this day i still struggle to do up the very top button.

unless they have poop or something equally filthy.. just wear them and the smell will pass... i've done the freezer, sunning and lots of airing, they all didn't work. best way was to just wear them till the smell went away.. took about a week. and this wasn't with the apcs.

Let me get this straight, you kept wearing them until the smell went away? Did the smell actually go away or did you just get so used to it that you stopped smelling it?

My New Cures have not stretched to a point where I can comfortably do up all the buttons. I've had them for about a year now. I only do three and hide the fourth behind a belt. All my Nudies are 28 in the waist and fit perfectly, so I thought I was playing it safe buying the NCs in size 27.

I purchased my NCs from Context Clothing and they have the exact same tag. Different size obviously.

I sized down two on my New Cures and they are really, really tight. I still have to hold in my stomach when i'm doing up my buttons and i've worn them a lot. I couldn't imagine sizing down any more than that.

How much do New Cures shrink after a wash? I kind of like not having to spend 5 minutes doing my buttons up but I don't know much longer I can put off a wash.

I'm kind of interested in the Flat Heads SE05BSP jeans. It's a big step up in terms of price compared to everything else I own so I'm kind of wondering how they compare to Thin Finns and APC New Cures? I love the fit of those jeans and was wondering if this jean is comparable.

I paid $11 dollars in duty/tax when I bought my NCs from context, shipped to Ontario. For comparison, I paid $61 dollars in duty, tax and UPS rape fees when I bought a pair of jeans from nudiejeans.com.
