Can I add Hornblower , IT crowd , outnumbered .
definitely! i've got it crowd already and love it!
so i've been watching misfits due to the multiple recommendations in this thread. it's a bit too campy for me. some of the shit is super ridiculous. but it's not horrendous. i'll stick it out till the 3 seasons. i loved the episode in season 1 where they delve deeper into curtis' time travel power.
anyone got any recommendations for 'urban' uk shows/movies that isn't kidulthood, starred up and skins?

this is england 86
doll & em (brits in merica)
thanks! didn't realise they made a tv series on the movie. loved the movie.
Skins?
watched the first few seasons then it got so bad. do they still make these?
I really liked the first couple seasons of Misfits. It's hilarious/campy. Plus Ramsay Bolton is in it.
Broadchurch was also great-- but for the love of god, stay away from the American version.
AND I loved The Hour. Seriously amazing cast, It got cancelled on a cliffhanger though, but I loved the series-- especially when Peter Capaldi came in.
i've heard misfits starts of good then gets bad. don't want to invest time in it if it's like that. i want a good closure. i need a good closure.
will check out broadchurch.
^^
same with the hour, don't want to invest time if it has been cancelled.
A couple years late, but just finished Avatar: The Last Airbender
How fucking good wasn't that final episode
i hear that

this guys videos are great.
found this guy's channel when i was looking at reviews. they have a few reviews but a lot of other videos where they just get blazed and talk about random shit. some of them are pretty funny and makes me wish i had a canadian stoner friend. most of them start off with the guy lighting the joint then coughing but the way it's edited just makes me laugh every time.

At first glance some tattoos look quite simple but you miss the detail involved , very nice work and I bet you sat in the chair for about four hours on this one .
would you believe me if i told you it only took 2-2.5 hours? alvaro is super skilled with this style.

got some dots and lines by alvaro flores in melb:
planning to turn this whole arm into a blackwork sleeve by works from jondix, gerhard, anna day, kenji and others when/if i get a chance.

Sorry late to the party but if you want to give that a name they look like Moroccan wedding henna tattoos... This might help you with the design. http://www.kenzi.com/LearnMorocco.html
oh wow, had no idea it could be moroccan related. thanks! will have a look around the net.

ya, those are all guy's pics but i've seen lots of other blackwork artists utilise that 'design'.

does anyone know what this is called or does it just fall under 'blackwork'?

with this particular one, the line with the zig zag and the circle under the chin, i've seen that in a lot of buddhist imagery. anyone have a name for it?

there's a dedicated coffee thread but not one for tea, so here it is.
I love coffee and drink it a lot but have now just taken a break from caffeine and want to sip on some herbal tea. I know nothing about tea and purely just drink tea bag teas. My favorite is this: http://www.redseal.co.nz/product/black-adder-liquorice-tea/
otherwise i like to drink a mug of peppermint and chamomile tea.
I'm looking to get proper tea ware; anything similiar to an aeropress in the tea world?
any other forums, resources, links to check out?

bad lighting and still a bit shiny/cracked, but here's something i got from philip yarnell:
on my thigh and wraps a little.
so you ended up getting a hold of him? how long did it take for you to organise everything with him?

guys, sort of off topic question;
how do you pronounce guy le tatooers name?
when i referred to guy as 'guy' to sophie, she didn't know who i was talking about and corrected me and said it was 'lee'.
then when i met this other tattooer here, he said it was 'ghee lee'.
i should've asked the man himself, but yeee...
anyone know how to pronounce his name/what is his name?

so i was finally able to get a hole of him. booked in an appointment and everything and sent in reference pictures. i went away and came back the day before the appointment and saw that he didn't respond to my email with the reference pictures. so sent another email to check if the appointment was still going ahead and he responds later that night around 11pm saying he can't do it anymore =/
what a disappointing interaction with an artist i wanted to get tattooed with.
and i couldn't just call/rock up at the shop as he was just guesting at my state.
