If Take5 will do another run of the contest jeans, then I'll most probably join. I would have joined before the deadline if I had had the money to do so.

Seems fair. Especially for those who won't be able to register and join the contest until after tomorrow's deadline (there seems to be a few people in that predicament, myself included).
....following my own post, again....i´m sorry. As there are contestants now, who aren´t members of sufu or mn and joined through t5, i think we´ll have to change the rules a bit:
- updates are VERY welcome, but not necesary (hope everyone will still update frequently)
- there is NO fix startdate. everyone may start wearing their jeans after receiving. i´d still welcome it, if everyone would post a pic of their jeans before starting. in 2 years a few weeks won´t make the difference, right?
do you guys agree wuith those rules?
anyways i´ll try to get the email-addresses of the hk and china contestants and ask them to either join the communities or send their updates to me and i´ll just upload them.

I know that there's an element of guesswork involved at this stage, but does anyone have any idea if the 634SRs will fade as slowly as the regular 634s?

I'm probably going to enter this contest, but I'm another person who won't have the money until after the deadline. So I'll probably miss the start of the contest, but if it's a two-year long contest, that's not a big problem.

With these being 23oz after soaking, does that mean that all jeans only reach their tagged weight after soaking. Take a pair of S5000s, for example; would they only reach their 17oz tagged weight after a soak?

Denime 66XX or Flathead F380?

Now that's impressive fading. Kudos!

100% cotton.
So I'll need to be pretty handy with a needle and thread in order to prevent Skull-esque blowouts everywhere?

I'm just curious; do the 66xx (and xx) jeans have cotton or poly-cotton stitching?

I was never all that keen on the current Flathead arcs, but they seem to look much better on a pair of well-worn jeans. I saw a pair of F310s on here a few weeks ago, and I have have to say that they looked better when the denim was a lighter colour.

Those look nice shoque. I'd be very interested to see how they develop over the next several months; I don't recall seeing many pairs of the Triple Works on this thread, and I did a search some time ago because I was considering buying a pair.

Pevear/Volokhonsky translation is so good.
I've only read the McDuff translation, but the book is a masterpiece irrespective of whom is translating it.
Currently on the following:

Not many it must be said. I got rid of a lot of jeans, and as a result only wear the following:
APC NS
Flat Head 3005
I will, however, be expanding the collection as soon as I sort my finances out. Probably with a pair of SDAs or Samurais to begin with.

How much can the inseam of the 811 one wash jeans on BiG be expected to shrink by when they eventually receive their first wash?
