  1. sorry such a noob question, but, where to get PRPS raw jeans?

    You know,

IF I WAS ONE OF THE ELITIST MEMBERS ON HERE I'D BE TALKING ABOUT HOW I'D NEGG YO' ASS TO HELL AND SHIT.

    But I'm not like that.

Either way, you can try Revolve Clothing, Tobi, etc. etc. I really don't think you put in any effort into trying to search online for the jeans. You should take some time to research more before you attempt to make a foolhardy decision on buying the wrong pair of jeans or worse; sizing incorrectly.

Also, please try to take the time to consider what you have to say before you post on this board.

(see guys, that how we do it. You have to be stern and clear with children.)

  2. So I picked up the slim taper jeans from 3sixteen. They are the coated black, which looks pretty nice.

Eitherway, I wish I had a better fit picture but I don't have my tripod at the moment.

  3. he's recommending that you send them to a tailor and get an inch or two hacked. no worries, i got it done to mine. It's a fairly simple procedure

Oh, I see! Of course, but if the APC jean inseams for the legs are 34", how much should I ask for them to hem to be on the safe side? I'm quite paranoid that they may tailor it to be shorter. (I've had many incidents like that.)

  4. Sorry, I should've written the size and information. I went and ordered from Denim Bar online. (I can highly recommend them, quick shipping, and great and quick customer service.)

I didn't have a choice in leg inseam, but I have heard most leg length for APC goes by 34. (Someone please confirm)

My waist size is 29, so I sized down two. I have been sleeping in them for the past few days. They've only been off for me to shower and eat.

    -edit

And yes, they are New Cures.

  5. i don't know if people in this forum will agree that APC is high quality denim in its purest form, but the fit looks nice. ahhhh that tightness is bringing back bad memories... so glad i switched to petite standard

I will agree it may not be high-quality denim compared to some THF's, but I'm coming from Levis 511s and AA pants, so my standards are really low. :P

But once I break these in, I'm planning on some Diors. Hell yeah!

  6. Hey guys,

Didn't want to spam my picture or anything, but it's been about 5 days since I've worn my APC's, but today was the first day that I was pretty happy about the fit. (Although I do want it to stretch a bit more so it's got a bit more space.) So I feel like a picture of it was warranted.

Anyways, truthfully, I have been a bit OCD with these jeans. I have had them on since I've bought them, which is again, about 5 days. The only times I have taken them off were to shower and to eat. (I needed a break because it was too tight on my legs. Killing my circulation...) I've also spent a few days installing hardwood flooring so I guess that's why I appear to be having fades on my knees.

I'm hoping for some aggressive wear on these jeans. They still need to stretch and go through much more wear.

Also, harmonica in my left backpocket, placed diagonally. Tacky, yes or no? (Yes, I actually play it, i got mah hata blockas be on ;))

Also, to summarize my initial impressions of APC jeans, I'd like to confirm that the jeans stretch A LOT. The starching in these jeans are CRAZY, it's like cardboard. Enjoy breaking it in, (and if you sized down, enjoy having red rings behind your knee. BUT YOU GOTTA GET DEM HONEYCOMBS SO STOP CRYING) Also, quality is definitely superior to both my Levis 511's. I love the feeling of high quality denim in it's purest form. So awesome. So nice.

  7. i hate how the bottom part of the leg is looks like its shifted inward due to the stacks. i had that with my nudie slim jims when i first got them and it made it look like i had major bowlegs.

    DUDE SERIOUSLY

Do they go away after a while?

  8. Hello,

Just got my APC NC Size 27's in today. Here are some initial pictures. (They're hard as shit to get into to, BTW.)

Hopefully mine will stretch a little more, I'm not really into the skin tight look.

  9. i'm like a mechanical device, to be precise

cept more furious and on fire than kimbo slice

you see, i saw more than what you have seen cause i see what you can't see, don't you see?

    sometimes i see movin

but mostly it's just stoppin or stallin

cause we didn't have no great j. stalin

but hey woe is me for foes won't woe for me

and i understand there has to be a certain degree of debris

but just sit there and think how scary it could be

you may disagree but i gotta tell em

all i need is my weed and my denim

  10. Here are pictures of my Clark's.

They are the Beeswax trim (size 8). One day old. At first after buying them they were initially a pain to walk in, but they've already gotten much more comfortable. I really like these shoes.

  11. alright so i'm a pretty skinny dude about 120 and my true waist size is 28, and i'm aiming for a slim fit, definitely nothing too skinny

i don't want any hip flares or a lot of free space inside the tigh area, so should i size down to a 25 or a 26 in NS?

    thanks in advance

I don't understand why not NC? If your true waist is 28, your thighs cannot be that big. New Cure would look so much better on you than NS. The NC isn't that skinny once it finishes stretching.

    -edit

Plus, if you just want that slim look, you can just size down one, (but I'd size down two) for NC.

  12. are those the SExI04bks? basically,t hose are based on the dior 19cm cut, which in turn, is based on the APC cuts, probably the New cure. So, try the apc new cure? it has the tapered leg, if thats what you're looking for. if you're looking for a regular, straight leg, go for the new standard. and of course, size down.

I went ahead and got the APC NC, so I just wanted to thank you for the quick and speedy answer. +repped

^^^ like what apparation said, definitely the new cures, if your looking for that kind of fit. size 26. is that from the selfedge website??

Yessir, straight from the SE website.

Also, one more question. I measured my waist and it happened to be at 29, so I ordered it in 27. Will the stretching be too much? I wanted to get a perhaps slim fit more than it sticking to my skin.

3 Day shipping...CANNOT WAIT. First pair of raw's!

  13. Hey guys, I want to buy my first pair of raws.

I want to buy APC jeans, but I'm not sure what cut to get. My waist is 28, so I'm assuming I'm size down 2 to wear a 26 waist?

I kinda want to be able to get a cut that looks similar to this:

    rh5uzk.jpg

I know the picture above has really expensive denim, but I just wanted to know which cut from APC would give me most similar looks.

    Thanks, denimaddicts.

    -edit, whoops. waist is 29.
