  1. Samurai W001 Thick Curved Steer Belt

Couple of nice belts from Samurai. These are extremely thick and have a large buckle, they will only get better after years of wear. Pewter buckle. The thickness of these belts is no joke.... All belts are size 34.

    Measurements:

    Thickness: ~2" to 3" / 5 to 8 cm

Belt Width (top to bottom): 1.75" / 4.45 cm

From front of the buckle to third notch: 35" / 89 cm

From one end of the leather to the other: ~38" / 101 cm

From end of buckle to end of belt: ~41" / 104 cm

  2. Full Count 1893 (1109) Fit

These are a nice pair of black one-wash denim from Full Count. They are labeled 1893 but they fit similar to Full Count's slim fit 1109. I recommend these jeans because you are going to be hard pressed to find a pair of non-raw slim black selvedge denim with back rivets and all that. They are a size 33 but they are a very skinny fit jean I would recommend these if you wear a 32.... maybe even 30... just check the measurements.

    Measurements:

    Waist: 16" / 40.64 cm

    Inseam: 33.75" / 85.73 cm

    Thigh: 12" / 30.48 cm

    Knee: 8.75" / 22.23 cm

    Front Rise: 10.25" / 26.04 cm

    Back Rise: 13" / 33.02 cm

    Hem: 8.25" / 20.96 cm

    Hip: 19.25" / 48.90 cm

    Full Length: 45.25" / 114.94 cm

  3. Hello,

I only accept PayPal and I always ship via USPS priority mail with signature confirmation within one business day, but normally the same day. All prices include shipping and handling. No returns.

I used the "Blue In Green" method for measuring the pant and jean.

ALL items in this thread are Mint... never worn.

    Without further ado....

    Hysteric Glamour x Dickies

These were part of a collaboration between the Japanese brand Hysteric Glamour and Dickies. These are a very skinny fit are a 65/35 poly/cotton blend (much more softer than American Dickes), and they have a back cinch. They are a size 32, but like I said before they are extremely skinny.

    Size 32

    Measurements:

    Waist: 16.75" / 42.55 cm

    Inseam: 31.5" / 80 cm

    Thigh: 11.5" / 29.20 cm

    Knee: 8.75" / 22.23 cm

    Front Rise: 8.5" / 21.60 cm

    Back Rise: 13" / 33 cm

    Hem: 7.75" / 19.69 cm

    Hip: 19" / 48.26 cm

  5. Just took delivery of my first pairs of Sams... A pair of Lot 18 S510XX19oz & Lot 18-1239 S710XX24oz... The denim is very nice especially on the 710. I purchased these from FRISBEE in Japan. Both match the measurements on their site except the waist which measure tag size pre-wash... Can't wait to wear these after hot washing.

Hot washed both pairs today... Shrank down one size, i.e., two inches in the waist and about two and a quarter inches in the inseam. Little snug but I'm sure will drape properly with wear. I gotta tip my hat to the people at Samurai... great jeans.

  7. I just came across an old pair of no.1 2001 in my closet and damn! I miss the quality of those jeans. It's a shame they are too large for me. I would like to order a pair of no.1 2000 but they have an inseam of 34-35 inches before washing and I need at least 34 after washing. Evisu if you are reading this stop discriminating against tall folk!

  8. Thanks.

Thinking about ordering from Rakuten. Which cut is a straight cut and which one is a slim straight? Also any sizing advice on No. 1 and No. 2 denim? My true waist size is about a 35...

for no.1 size up two inches from whatever size jeans that fit you comfortably, and for no.2 go with the size jean you already wear. no.1 denim is unsanfordized and will shrink a significant amount when washed, and no.2 is sanfordized and will not shrink when washed. If you're buying your pair from that rakuten store I'd advise you to take their advice on sizing the jeans. I followed their advice (sizing up 2 inches) and my jeans fit perfect after one hot wash.

  9. I am trying to buy a pair of the MIJ Evisu No.1 or No.2 jeans and came across this on Rakuten:

Has anyone had experience with these guys and if so, are they reliable? I live in America and really want a pair of the MIJ denim but do not want to have to go to Japan to get them.

I got a pair of no1 2001s from them back in february. legit. probably the only store you can get them from on the net right now without a proxy.

  10. Greetings,

I received this Buco horsehide belt yesterday and I would like to know if I need to condition it before wearing. I see "lines" on the grain side of the belt that look like they may crack after some light wear. I believe the belt is fine as is, but I'd rather be safe than sorry and ask here first before I wear it. The belt is really nice; I'm looking forward to how it's going to age after a few years and I want to make sure I take good care of it so that it ages well.
