  1. Just stopped into SENY yesterday for the first time for some denim repairs and let me tell you the guys in there are top notch. Made me feel right at home, thanks for taking good care of the Ooe's guys and I'll be looking forward to getting them back soon. I know its been said a billion times before but everyone should stop into the store if they are in the area. Great experience!

  2. My first post on the evolution thread. Ooe's WWII cut - #27 denim, 6 months, 1 HOT soak and 2 washes. This post is more for the evolution of the denim than the crazy fades after 6 months. Will post again at 1 year. They are off to Kiya's for a crotch reinforcement.

Last pic is the jeans next to the sample swatch I got from Hiro and Ryo when deciding what fabric to choose.

Just shy of 3 months with the Ooe's. The picture is absolutely lighter than real life, its a new camera and I'm not positive how to get the trueist color in low light yet but I'll keep working on it. It at least lets you see the contrast starting on the fades. Great pair of denim!!

  4. Just gave the Ooe's their first wash, had an original soak on my #27 denim. These fuckers fade fast. There isn't a whole lot going on but I really don't do a ton of stuff. I work in an office and wear them in and out of work most of the time along with some general snow shoveling (lots of that in NJ this year) and running around. But for the 3 months that I've owned these they have about as much wear showing as my Ande Whalls did after over a year of the same wear. There is nice vertical falling and the denim reminds me a lot of PBJ. Some good slub and vertical falling. I'll post pictures when I get my replacement camera since my last one broke in the last snowstorm. Hopefully I can get my fit pics off of that camera as well.

  5. I'm curious too to see what other cuts they have and the fit. The WWII cut fits me because I'm a fat ass but the rise is very big. Never had a pair of jeans that sat on my true waist before. Its a bit strange but not a bad thing. The denim on these things are awesome! Lovin every minute of mine.

Fit pics soon, I promise. Just been busy recently, trying to buy a house. (thank god i got my ooe's in before the mortgage payments start, lol)

  6. I'm working on it, picture hosting was a challenge this morning, I have a bunch more. No fit pics as of yet but I'll work on that for tomorrow. I soaked them but they might not be all the way shrunk, still seem a little bit big but not a horrible fit. Nice hairy texture, rough on the inside, like sandpaper.

  7. Just picked up my first pair of Ooe's. They are the WWII cut in the #27 denim. RHT red line unsanfordized selvedge with brown side yarn. The customization of the stars on the pocket was something I thought up a year ago when I was considering getting these jeans but it just happens to be exactly what is going on with the Tour. BTW, AWESOME TOUR!!!! Hope you guys like the pics!

  8. I've been looking on their website, and I know that they send samples too, I was just curious if anyone had any reco's if they've actually handled a sample or have a pair that is slightly hairy that they own or have had experience with or ordered.

  9. Hey guys, I've been looking at Ooe's for a long time now, constantly following this thread. I think that the WWII cut is exactly what I'm looking for. Am I right in assuming that I can order this cut in whatever fabric I wish? If thats the case, does anyone have a recommendation for something that is a darker fabric, something thats kinda hairy too. I have a pair of APC's and a pair of Ande Cougars. I was looking for something a little different than those. Thanks in advance guys!

  10. does anyone know whats up with the denim bar and the style forum code?

im trying to get my second pair.

Denim Bar isn't offering codes on SF anymore. Check out Farinelli's at the top of the page. Mauro who used to own the Denim bar has his own place now and he offers free shipping on APC's. No one discounts them anymore so thats the best deal you'll come across. They have a ton in stock too

  11. I'm super impressed by these jeans. So many options and such nice quality. If I wasn't overloaded with denim now I'd probably hop on a pair of these. I'm working on a pair of Recues and Ande Whall cougars. Between the two of them I don't have much time for a third pair. But if i did it would SO be these!

  12. I've been rocking a pair of last seasons cougars. Before they were changed to a bootcut. They are a great jean, TOP quality construction. Just starting to get a decent fade after 4 months or so. Even though I don't wear them hard and they are cycled with another pair. THANKS ANDE!
