so while skateboarding i took a pretty big fall and ripped the back pocket of my sams. i'd like the repair to be as subtle as possible. has anyone tried http://denimsurgeon.com/ or http://denimtherapy.com/ for this type of repair? are there any other places that would do a good job at this type of denim repair?
pics of the damage:
The Hartford Denim Company will fix it up right quick for ya.

You could put a denim patch over it, or replace the pocket with a new one, or add more indigo.

Im selling my 24 oz. LHT size 31 if anybody Innerested, 4 months regular wear very nice honeycombs and lap fades coming in. I will post pics.

To get the really nice honeycombs, try keeping your knees bent during the hot soak and after as the creases will set better leaving some really nice fades. I have done this and it works great.
Sorry for being annoying but today is largely dedicated toneglected fit pics. These I just purchased from
ah_long, Sz31, S510XX-24OZ . As you would expect,
the man gave me a smashing deal and I received them
ridiculously quickly. The denim on these dance a fine
balance between insane toughness, thickness and yes--
even smoothness. They're very, very comfy. Can't wait to
start wearing these...post wash/dry, I believe these
would be 27-oz. ah_long soaked these once, I'll do
the usual of hot wash/hot tumble dry before wearing them
for real. Unfortunately, I'm not a motorcycle courier like
evilcrayon...I probably don't deserve these and my
evo will be totally lame, but oh well...

I like heavyweight denim for it's novelty factor, but I have to agree it is amazing for berry picking. Plus it's so warm and cozy and mosquito proof too. If you don't have a pair of heavy weight denim, just put on two pairs of jeans(one smaller size) and the bigger pair on top, that works great too

Might be kinda hard to punch him from there though, he'd probably jump kick ya first, plus he has the peace sign.

When it's unacceptable to wear jeans to work so you simply wear a few sizes up of your work pants and still wear your jeans under but noone can see them.

I bet he would also think ancient unsymetrical Korean or Japanese pottery looks like bad or poor workmanship too! Would you rather have the cookie cutter look?
QUOTE=thedoad;2837014]His opinion was that they look like shit. Get over it. Pretty simple man.
Setterman was far more eloquent in summing it up but "Looks like shit" is a lot easier to type.

Wow, those look nice, an excellent fit too. I hear the fabric darkens over time.
Some custom persimmons the talented folks at Hartford did for me:Fit pics:

Self Edge and HPA are the only BR dealers in the US and neither of us carry the tees.
Hey, I just wanted to set the record straight that The Hartford Denim Company also sells Buzz Rickson.
