Anyone know how the Bilbo sole holds up, as compared to the Vibram Christy? How about comfort?
Thanks in advance.

For sale is a gently worn pair of Wolverine 1000 Mile boots in Brown. I've worn them roughly five times since I acquired them. They are wonderfully crafted boots and super comfy from the start - just didn't fit my style. I'm selling these for $250 shipped CONUS. Paypal only. PM if interested and thanks for looking. More pictures available upon request.

Selling a pair of Rogue Territory Dark Stanton 32x32

Looking for $135 shipped CONUS.

I got a size 9 coming in the mail.
Do you think they run true to size or typical converse sizing?
Normally an 8.5 in chuck taylors
I have a pair of the lowtop straight shooters and I went with my Jack Purcell size, so .5 larger than my all star size. Hope that helps.

Yes, "wedge sole" is a larger term usually, which just indicates that the sole is one solid piece that is thicker at the heel than the toe. Meaning: there is no separate "heel" but the heel is still taller.
However this also means that you could conceivably have a plantation crepe wedge sole... but I've never seen one.

What's the proper/best way to clean the crepe soles on Red Wings? I want to get them back to their off white/tan color. Thanks.

Revamping these could be a cool project to take for pretty cheap.

Can anyone tell me or show me how the Red Wings Oro Russet Portage leather wears over time? I'm looking to get a new pair of Red Wing boots and beat the shite out of them, but I'm not sure which color wears the best over time. Thanks.

No maker's stamps/tags on this pair, but they certainly resemble the classic Red Wing 1905 work boots. Circa late 1950s - 60s vintage, and made from top grain oiled leather, with a crepe sole. Triple-needle stitching throughout and genuine GoodYear Welt construction. Actual outsole measures right around 11 3/4" and the widest forefoot is 4 1/4". Overall height is 6 1/2".
Looking for $40 shipped CONUS.
PM me if interested.

I just won these boots via ebay and I have a question. These are Goodyear welted, would I be able to take them to a cobbler that is a certified Vibram repairman and have the Vibram crepe soles that are on Red Wings put on? How does that work? Does the cobbler have a catalog to pick through or can I just tell him the model number of the sole (does anyone know this?)? Thanks in advance.

If anyone wants these, I'll end the ebay auction early and subtract $10 bucks for shipping. $110 shipped.

Saw these Red Wings on eBay and thought they looked great. Anyone know what color they might have been originally? Thanks in advance.
