THe guys there are really cool too and they just got restocked on tuesday.Just dont like those shiney buttons

    New Year New APCs

  2. Not a fit pic this time around.

Is that the newer PS's? I saw these at Barneys COOP and the buttons are so freakin shiny now and they have an extra button too.

My last years PS's had only 3 buttons and a duller shine

And what does this whole detroit or whatever means.Wish they stuck to what they were producing...

  3. Yup I just brought them in to their store in Hollywood and pretty much just did a trade plus cash on my end. They look at them and if they have good color and fading they will do it. They're supposed to be raw still too, but I washed mine and they didn't say anything. Honestly I think some of the employees are oblivious to it because they didn't even know they sold Supreme Petite Standards in their own store. They had never even heard of Supreme.

Lol I've had the same deal with the west Hollywood people. I was asking questions about my purchase and shut and they don't even know their own product. The first time I dealt with a cute girl and tall guy and they knew there shit. But others oh boy

  4. They feel a lot different than indigo.Weird thing about it was they had the old button style that doesnt swivel/jingle and it had 4 buttons.and No selvedge line.

My PS Indigo that I got last year had the swivel button and only 3 buttons. I asked the guy and he had no clue and basically said that all PS have 4 buttons.I was like umm no I'm wearing my PS right now and i have three.I should have just button down my pants in the store to show up lol.

But is the style changed.or is this an old pair that they were just trying to sell off.

I looked on all the sites that sell them and it shows 4 buttons.

So then what are my Indigo PS's then,it says petite standards.

and are all Sales Associates never have a clue on what they are selling anymore.Starting to prefer shopping online from now on more and more.

  5. Do you do any activities? They show no wear AT all. My PS at 3 months look 3x more used then yours!

nothing much really dont do phsycial activaties other than getting up from my desk and going back and forth. I work a lot and dont jump off buildings or anything.

  6. Dude, I'm a 32-33 true waister (5'6" 165-170 lb'er) and I'm exchanging my size 29 PS's for some size 28's so I think you could fit do a size 28.

If you want a higher rise, you might want to look at the NC's but maybe do a size bigger than you would in PS.

dont you have a problem with the rise. omg Im skinny and i got major ass crack showing and feel like my pubes are going to show up on my Ps's

I was thinking about the new cures. but im really badly ocd and just want the NS really really tight.

  7. I wanna get another pair of APC's. My new Ps feel too low of a rise and kind startin to get loose after the 2 months thinking of selling. So im thinking of getting another pair of New Standards and maybe go to a size 28. Im normally a 32. My 30's that i have are pretty baggy now but i like everything else about them. Could I size down that much or will i just get a major crotch rip.I know them stretch a lot but not know if that is just crazy to go down that much?

    I'm 511' 165 pounds size 32 regularly

    NS size 30 5 months

    PS size 30 2 months

I like the look of the thighs on my Ps but want a higher rise, what should i do?

  8. Im trying to find the perfect size and cut for me. I want a really tight fit in the hips and thighs I really like the rise of the new standards Im 5'11 165 with no butt and really skinny.

Here are my 4 month NS size 30. I'm pretty sure I didn't size down enough because they are pretty baggy in the hips which I dont like. I do like the rise just wish they were skinnier

So I bought Petite Standards at size 30 and they fit really good! These are 1 month Even these have a little bit of hip flair on them but If i went down anymore to a 29 which i sized on my ass would be completely showing all the time

All of them look like I have diaper ass and I guess I really am too skinny for all of these. I'm thinking about NS size 28 would that be better. I want a really tight fit in the thighs with no flaring and just tight in the but. Do you all that NS can achieve that if i size down enough, I like the rise of them. but dont know if i can physically fill them out>

Or could I just go with NC's and have a really good fit

Here is a pick of some jeans I've had forever that I love the fit on Yea they all faded and ugly now but to , So something to that affect

I'm really new to quality denim and just want to look as good as some of those amazing jeans I've seen on all of you. Any Suggestions

  9. Thanks for all the rep, appreciate it.

I visited the APC store on Melrose today, and the SAs ALL have incredible looking APCs.

Also tried on the overdye black petits, and they look great. Would purchase if I had the funds.

I was at the melrose store last month when i got my PS and the Sa there had the most perfectly fitted unwashed green tinted jeans ever i did see. It's amazing how some people can get their jeans.

  10. correct. all APC denim will stretch somewhat, however it will stretch more the tighter it is.

Ok so when people say they have size down 2, now does that count the vanity size or the 2 plus more sizing down?

  11. ^ You go down 2 sizes to account for vanity sizing, then 1-3 more to account for stretch, since APCs are capable of stretching up to 3 inches in the waist. You can have APCs tagged 27-30 all with a measured 32 waist, with the only difference being the slimness of the legs.

Ugh I get it now!! aqhong you made it perfect sense.

Depends on how much you like the tightness on the legs. So as long as i dont try to stretch something out its not gonna get super loose.

I got a PS 30 and was able to button them up all the way unlike my NS 30 which couldnt do it till it stretched out. So the PS wont stretch much unless I put constant tension on getting them bigger correct.

  12. ^ You're not actually sizing down 4, you're sizing down 2; the 2 you went down to account for vanity sizing don't count. There are people who size down 3, so no, sizing down 2 is not unheard of.

Wait so if your saying is correct that Vanity sizing doesn't count. A size 32 waist needs to get a size 28 to get a true 32 waist fit?

I thought size down 2 was because of the vanity sizing.

  13. You're six feet tall and are complaining about the stacking? You must have some short legs. I'm 5'9.5 and I my stacking is minimal. Aren't NS's realatively straight legged, too? First try a hot soak, maybe spin or two in the dryer. Then if you still aren't satisfied hem them. I think they'll prob look pretty wack after hemming them if they do when you internally cuff. Most of the time "european cuts" are skinnier jeans anyway.

What's your inseam, and what's the inseam of your jeans? Send pictures.

I think I have shorter legs. I measured my inseam and its a 30, which could be wrong Im not a tailor hah. sounds to short for me. I think hemming will look weird cuz the taper hits right where i need it to be hemmed so there wont be any shape the the lower cut of the jeans. I havent washed them so maybe they shrink it length,

They would be perfect if they do. I like a shorter look in my jeans, With a lot of european jeans I see they are really cut short high water style. and Most of my jeans are like that. I dont know what Im talking about hah.

  14. Anyone have success in hemming the jeans. Im 6'0 with a month of wear and they are just too long. I'm not into "stacking" or cuffing, Sorry stacking sounds immature and it looks ugly so I'm going for a more shorter european cut. They are just too long

The problem seems with the taper of the NS. I've rolled an inch under and the whole cut looks just off now.

I asked an SA about this and he said not to hem it too much cause they shrink in lenghth. But everyone on the threads say they dont.

Any sucess in making a good hem?

  15. Okay I've read the whole thread and I got some real questions and specific ones.

When you tried them on the first time to which button could you button them up to?

How much did they stretch out to, and are you satisfied with the fit now?

The Sales Rep told me not to hem shorter because they will shrink in length, But how much will they shrink and will it ruin the fit if I do?

I always see the same answers "they stretch out mad crazy" and " i couldn't button them up all the way" but how stretchy and whats all the way.

Currently I have a size 30 NS(normally a 32) and I just couldn't button the last button at the store. But they have stretched out to where I think it could sized one more down Or I have no ass.Plus they are really too long, I don't like stacks and i kinda like them more of a European fit.I'm just trying to figure out the exact scenario to which I can get the perfect fit and not worrying about getting wrong sizes.

thanks all or was all these questions answered before and I just missed that line hah.
