wow..I didn't think I would get so much neg rep for that comment. Just had an opinion. I did however deserve the one for saying "synergy of fabric"..hahaha..that shit sounds stupid as hell. Some of you guys make some very good points. Jmatsu definately has a point about the forum having an identity and some sort of common thread. I, personally, only post in threads that I have common interests with so I can definately understand this. Don't even know what to think. Orlovsky is one of those guys that I always vote for, then get dissapointed. Shouldn't one of the rules be to show what you are doing in the fashion industry that would qualify you to talk about someone elses fit. Proportions, colors, synergy of fabric and material, etc..etc.. Simply stated, being a Sufu member for 2 or more years doesn't really make you an expert. Some of you talk about people having there own style. How is that possible if it is not correct unless they dress how you think they should? Wouldn't that be your style? Sometimes it just seems like more of a popularity contest, or even people on here posting hate because of there own short commings. However, I've only been on here for a month or so, there is no way I could possibly know anything. Seriously though, what are some of you experts doing in the industry, I'd like to know? I'd like to see your next line, maybe purchase something if I like it.

this is not focused toward you, its just the perfect statement to quote for my thoughts..

I'm sure stylists do frequent fashion boards, but I am also sure that many labels send clothes to stylists so that celebs will be seen wearing them. You have to understand, you guys are the minority. The majority get there style, sad as it is, from the TV. If your gonna get upset, get upset at the labels. However, if its the label that makes your style, you have got some work to do yourself. You should be able to go to a thrift store and put something together, if you truly have style. Shit..even wal-mart if you dont care about quality..lol..

Also, there are many succesfull professionals out there that have no sense of style. They are not celebs, just loaded. They either just have no time to worry about, or even know, whats what when it comes to fashion or are just socially inept because they spent all there time becoming loaded. These people also rely on stylists or even there favorite Barneys employee. Some of the people on here would understand. I've seen some pics of people who look pretty socially inept and they have 200,000 posts in a three month period, but they got expensive ass goods on.
