Anyone with experience wearing indigo denim overdyed with black - how does it fade? Do you get blue showing through where the black fades with wear behind the knees and at the thighs or do the two colors fade through to the white core with even fading other places from washing? thanks

The theory is that once you wear them the black will fade showing the blue and then the blue will fade to the white. But your denim will have a mixed fading all around.

You know that if you tape the inside of ur pant leg at the hem it will stop or atleast slow down some of the bleeding on kicks and won't effect the fading.

I'm thinking of starting my own clothing srore and would like the input from you all to see what is missing from clothing stores nowadays. . I know what I feel is being overlooked but that's doesn't mean I'm not overlooking things myself. So I turn to the experts. Please assist in anyway thanks.

So Its been awhile ,2 yrs, since Ive been on here so sorry if I being a noob. Has anyone had any experience with the Evisu Nakata Jeans regular fit? If so can you give me some ideas of what to expect in shrinkage and easy of wear? And since the site wont tell me if they are self edged or not that as well?

Anyone know how much it would cost to get a pair of jeans tapered?

It would all depend on who was tapering them. I would just call some locale tailors and ask about denim even better if you got a high end denim retailer ask them. They probably know of the best denim tailors in town or could atleast point you in the right direction.

here's something different I am about to write my degree thesis and I really have a problem coming up with a topic. What I want to do is to write something about denim from the perspective of e-business which is my major. But I don't want it to be some boring shit about ebay or something. Can anyone of you guys come up with something real good? your help will be greatly appreciated!

You could always write about how message boards like such have affected the industry of denim etail. Just think, how many pairs of denim have these message boards help sell from word of mouth and how they could assist in marketing research since the market is now global.

Don't know where to turn with my fustration but does anyone else have this problem when you go to one of these "designer" clothing department stores and the sales rep looks at you like your crazy when you turn the jeans inside out to check the seems and if there are any hidden details and realize that hey these aren't any better then some run of the mill levis but cost 200 percent more? Maybe its just me, who knows? Thought I'd just ask. P.S. I'd get the seems fixed.

I hope evisu's are still loved cause. I finally have saved enough for a couple. Right now I'm breaking in a pair of number 2's 0331's. If anyone can tell me what to expect it would be appreciated. I'm about 1 week into it and hope to go a month before the first soak.
