Also have some naked and famous coming up on 2.8 years or something that I'll be posting soon as well. =)

Coming up on 9 months on these 301's, think I'll wash 'em soon. I've gained some weight since buying them, so this might be a dangerous move...

jobesjobes, thank you, I'm familiar with Dutil. Unfortunately last time I asked them, they sent me right across the street to duluxe(sp?) The staff/stock there has gone a bit down hill, except for a few of the bit older guys/gals. I'll have to find my old tailor somehow.

My crotch is a scary place to be.

I have a pair of IH301's @ ~3months that have a small rip in the crotch, can't wear them in fear of making it a hole

Is this normal? I sized down one and have worn them every day save for maybe a week.

I saw a pair at dutil, vancouver that were $228, what's up with that? marked down to $98 :/

would you mind doing a measurement on the waist? i'm in disbelief if these stretch significantly over 2 inches. and what size were they originally. you persistent bastard you.

=D unfortunately I cold soaked em and they shrunk a bit, stetching them back out now. Will get fit pics when I can get a decent camera.

That would be them! can almost do up the top button, but not the second button down :/

I think it may be because the second button from the bottom popped, and they didn't get to stretch as much in that area.. Or it could be because I sized down 3. Either way, they're coming along nicely. And I don't mind the breeze

damn, joubin. imperial denim really doesn't stretch much, and those're awfully tight, especially for shearers.

ill update with new pics when i can. they've stretched quite a bit.. im going to make them fit!

They've stretched since, thank god.

Imperial denim does not stretch nearly as much as, say, APC denim does. You'll expect at most around 1.5" of stretching. It is odd that you have so much trouble buttoning only the second button, and frankly, pretty amazing that the button ripped off. My true waist is around 32", and I wear a tagged sz 30 black dukes; long story short, I should've gotten a 31 since the waist is pretty snug. I suppose generally sizing down just 1 is preferable.

Any way you can return / sell that pair? Probably should've gotten a 29 or 30.

I don't want to sell them or return them, I had to order them and it took like ~3 weeks to get them. I'm not too worried about the button cause the fit looks pretty dope in my opinion, I'll post some pics when I can. Just hoping the waist stretches enough to button fully..

Got some shearers in 28 indigo the other day, real waist is 31, boy are they tight!

Got one button, rushed for the second and ripped it off =(
