hey man.. i havent been giving them much wear since cos its damn hot in singapore. I also just got a pair of pbjs so i intend to wear that pair more often. I'll prob give the 008s a rest for the time being.

Hey does anyone know if the One-Wash versions, especially the xx-011s, in particular, can shrink any further with either a wash or a hot soak??

My pair is a lil loose and i hope to shrink it without sending it back to BIG.

Could someone offer me some advice?

Hey Bass.. anyway.. i wore APC NS before Somets 008 and i can tell u that the NS are def gonna be much more baggy than the Somets. I'm around the same height as you, and skinny all around. Typical small built asian boy. And i found that the NS didnt fit me well at all. I would go for the Petit Standards if i had the choice.

Why dont u take some fit pics of ur NS?

Btw, how long did u wear ur Somets 008 for? Any washes/soaks?

hey to those xx-011 wearers around.. may i just ask how much the jeans stretch especially at the waist?? does it stretch much?? i cant decide between the new sz 28 or 29.... i'm wearing somet 008 sz 26.... help!

Hey Northern, thanks for ya comments.

I'm not too sure what temperature the water was.

I did add some detergent and fabric softener (obviously didnt work) to them primarily with the intention of removing the smell. They now smell really gooood.=)

In terms of shrinkage, i'm sure the length shrank abit, which i am happy about bcos i hate it tt my cuffs are fraying from all the stepping.

If you need measurements let me know.

I would say the jeans shrank a lil as a whole, possibly back to the brand new kinda feel. But i'm sure they will stretch out after some wear.

threw em in the washing machine for a spin.

took em out to sun.

word of advise, the waist shrank back to its painful tiny self. so i would recommend stretching them or wearing them while they are wet so as to retain the size you like.

pic of the back. pity cant really see the left side of the jeans. i placed a thick coin there and theres a tiny coin fade going on.

as a whole i really love the new post-wash texture i get.

now its time for stretching and trashing round 2.

well if i'm not wrong, the darts are meant to reduce any knee sag.

If u look at some jeans without darts, u may notice the knee area bulging out after some time due to stretching.. and tt makes it kinda ugly to look at.

Also the darts help to keep the overall silhouette of the jeans slim and tapered.

I personally really like the darts because its just different from many other jeans. When u first buy them, u wont notice the darts. But after constant wearing and fading, the darts will appear nicely as shown by my pic above.
