  1. i bought tts and it seems to have just enough room all the way down my leg.

i can just button these up, but with no sagging until some stretching happens. waiting for the denim to settle too

Tried on those Frankenstein's yesterday and they were fucking awesome. Can't imagine how they would look after a year of hard wear.

Can anyone tell me what the Elephant denim and the Frankenstein's colours are like? How do they compare to the Deep Indigo? I have the deep indigos already and I wanna get another pair, but don't want something too similar in colour..

    Thanks guys!

  2. Anyone with a pair of skinny guys in either size 30 or 29 (or both) willing to share the measurements BiG style?

I found a sizing chart provided by BiG when the limited 21oz run was made, but according to some posts i've read, the BiG chart wasn't accurate

I don't have my pair of skinnyGuys with me but I usually wear size 30 trousers and the 30 black stretch ones fit me pretty snugly. I would say the actual measurement is maybe an inch more, but it really depends on the model. I had no trouble getting the 30" black SkinnyGuys on but when I tried on the 30" Indigo Revival model I could not button them up!

  3. got this cut a while back. had the sides and back shaved just about a week ago.

same cut, two different styles. the down 'do has no product or anything.

the up 'do i put some product in as well as blowdry with a round brush to give it some curl.

  4. ^ill let him answer for himself, but i dont think the main thing in styling that is the product. id recommend a vent-brush and a blow-dryer to make it all poofy, and then apply product/hairspray to set

i think he's right. i have a similar style right now. you just have to put mousse into wet hair before blowdrying it in the direction you want, and use a curling brush to get it to curl correctly. after blowdry you take some matte paste and run it through the hair for some hold.

the trick is blowdrying the roots the OPPOSITE way of how you want it to go so it will hold itself up throughout the day.

  5. ^ i really like it as it is actually. even the lines look pretty clean (i mean the collective length of the hair).

    perm?! haha

you know what i do... look up ash stymest if you don't know who that is already. he has hair similar to yours and it is styled so many different ways. i like wearing mine up sometimes like he does. will take a bit of mousse, blowdry, and texture putty though.

  6. Shampoo every 3 days...conditioner whenever the hair feels brittle and dry.

hmm, maybe you need to condition more regularly as opposed to when our hair feels dry. try doing it whenever you shampoo?

i have very soft and shiny hair... i have had it as long as i can remember. i shampoo every day and condition every other day or so.... maybe that will help. who knows...

  7. My hair is really fucken curly, really fucken thick, and really fucken dry and hard to deal with. As it gets longer it just curls more, doesnt really gain any length. It would be impossible to get my hair to be like servo's pic unless it was relaxed. The people at the hair salon always bitch about how beautiful it is though, so blah. Rainy manhattan day has it looking shitty.

so jealous of your hair.. it's BEAUTIFUL!!!

try shaving the sides and back. leave the top very long. tons of styling possibilities.

  8. took a look at these the other day, but didn't try any on.

i was surprised to see that these have hidden rivets and a chain-stitched hem.

the only bad thing is the horribly oversized patch. but you can always take that off.

the crotch also didn't seem to be very well constructed.

  9. ^ i believe "cast" means it has that shade. the green weirdguys are dyed green over blue thread so it supposedly fades blue. When you look at it too you can see a bluish tint to the green.

Same thing goes for the lightweight. it has a grey "shade" to it. if it were all blue it would look slightly different.

anyone correct me if i'm wrong. and i don't have experience with sizing up on the skinnies (i actually bought ones that were super tight and now they're too tight since my legs got bigger... :() and i have never worn the cashmeres.

  10. @chrisb if you can't button ANY of the buttons up i would definitely size up. if it were just the top button you couldn't do up then i would keep them but it sounds like you should size up. hopefully one will be enough.

@-Z- those look great on you. i find weirdguys are tough to pull off well. seems like you were well proportioned for them. and you know what? once the stacks settle i think it will look perfect.

and for those of you who care about my quest for a top button replacement.. i went back to sydney's and they put one on for me. sha-wing!

  11. those look pretty tight. when i bought my weirdguys i think i couldn't do up the top button of the 29s, but they were also super tight all over, so i went with a 30 which i could button up. i'm sure they've stretched out a little since then but they aren't too big for my liking.

i heard some people say they've experienced stretching around 1-2 inches.

i guess too it depends on how you like to wear them. if you like your jeans tight then go tight. if not then go a size up.
