  1. do you normally cycle in $300+ jeans? I cycle also, but in apc's, capital E's, nudies, tsubi's. That kind of stuff. I save the CdG, dior, drkshdw, etc. for less rugged activities. I'm not knocking it if you do. I'd actually like to see someone doing a trackstand in traffic all in RO and Gareth Pugh leather or something craazy. BADASS.

  2. Finally got to it and took some pictures of the bag.

Item Description: Oversized Dries Van Noten Canvas and Leather Backpack.

Huge backpack with heavy-duty canvas and leather trim and metal hardware. The messenger strap is removable and adjustable (I have it on the shortest setting and I'm 5'6" maybe this will help for dimensions) There's one zippered pocket on the inside (I forgot the inside view, sorry) the rest of it is big and open. I'm asking for $450 + shipping. or the Visvim trade describes above and difference in retail value.

    Thanks for being patient sufu!

  3. You got some nice stuff, but these are hands down the worst pics I have seen in a FS ad...You might wanna get a better camera or try to take these pics with better lighting.

Ouch! haha. There pretty bad I won't argue that.... but the WORST! jeez. I think the shoes and the shirt are sold. If I receive payment on the items maybe I'll just start over, take new pictures, make a new spring sale thread minus the sold items.

p.s. I'm getting some good feedback and interest on the items. Thanks for the support guys. Like I said I'm new and learning so I just started with a couple items. I have some other stuff that I will be posting so stay tuned! (Raf Simons Astro sneakers, Balenciaga sneakers, Dries Van Noten Backpack NWT)

  4. Somebody is upset because they think I'm auctioning this item. That's fine I'll just set a price then.

Retails for $775 NWT, Asking for $450 + shipping (this is almost 50% OFF!)

(Or the trade for new Visvims still applies)

I was just trying to make it interesting. I honestly would have given the bag up for $350, but I'm perturbed that someone went out of his way to hate on me.

edit: Thanks sufu. There has been enough interest in this piece for me to take pictures. I'm sleepy, I'll have them up tomorrow night.

  5. I like shoes without socks. This thread is perfect for me.

I like TOMS. TOMS are great without socks. I guess you should never wear socks with espadrille styled shoes anyways.

I like riding my fixed gear bike without socks in Vans New Eras in the summertime (There just Vans who cares if they get stinky).

I like dress shoes without socks and cropped pants (Thom Browne steez).

I liked my Lanvin hightops with nylon mesh paneling without socks but I sold them here:

    http://www.superfuture.com/supertalk/showthread.php?t=199880&highlight=Lanvin

I kinda liked the creative recs with nylon mesh for that Lanvin steez for cretive rec prices, but not enough to buy them.

I like converse without socks but it's uncomfortable.

    That's all I got.

nice color. I like that better than mine. Here's my version in white complete with indigo blue stains from my jeans:

Can someone enlighten me on the appeal of the comme des garcons wallets?

Comme Des Garcons ANYTHING is automatically of interest to me. However the wallets are classic. Good functionality, good quality, good design, good materials. It's all good. I had the plain black before my girlfriend got her wallet stizzolen in the mean streets of Beverly Hills and I gave her mine as a loaner. Here are some pics of my Comme wallet with 3 years wear:

The Head Porter wallet above is my current EDC. However, some of the posts in here have made me rethink my zippered, wallet style in lieu of something more rugged for next time:

I love the color on these worn in brown leathers. Good job guys.

  7. Hi sufu. Just an interest check here. I've got a Dries Van Noten bag from the Autumn Winter 09 collection in black, brand new, with tags. Since this is just an interest check I didn't take any pictures of the actual piece. However, I didn't expect it to be so hard to find a good picture on the net. Here's the best I could find, it's from the actual runway show:

    dries-van-noten01.jpg

Pretty awful picture I know, but knowing you sufu'ers I'm sure some of you are already familiar with the bag I'm speaking of because it's AWESOME! Over-sized for you guys (or gals) with that superlative style. Canvas and leather with beautiful hardware. Removable shoulder strap, and fixed backpack straps (multiple styles of wear!). Three strap buckle style front flap enclosure. One big zippered pocket on the inside. I think it retails for $775. I for sure won't take less than $300 + you pay shipping. Please post your offers in this thread and I'll decide by Sunday. I'm also willing to trade for brand new Visvims in a size 41 (not familiar with Visvim sizing) FBT's prefered.

    Thanks for reading.

p.s. The picture is of the olive/taupe/tan kinda colored bag. This is for the all black (couldn't find a picture, help me out sufu!).

Badass Cheap Monday grey skinny jeans. I'm not too familiar with the fits of the Cheap Mondays the ticket says "Tight" and "Stone Wash" for the wash. These are marked a 29 waist but they fit tight as hell on me and I normally buy a 28 in everything. There are a bit skinny for my tastes these days. If your looking for some SUPER skinny grey jeans that are indestructible with great stretch than these are perfect. Great for daytime athletic jeans (skaters, bike riders, etc.) Big, masculine back pockets (stop buying girl's jeans! they make skinnys for men!).

Imperfections: A few, small phaded spots of blue and red paint. The main waist button is missing it's top cap. The zipper works, but bothers me (I'm picky). No holes or tears. This fabric is indestructible.

Haven't seen these in a while? Cassette OD Black skinny jeans in the Slim Caddy fit. These are great fitting jean with horizontal darting in the upper thigh and back heel area and vertical darting down the back of the thighs to give the ultimate fit. These are a tight 28 with a bit of stretch! Very skinny! They are in great condiition with small wear on the back right pocket from my wallet. There is a 2 inch hole in the butthole seam from all the hipster fixed-gear biking that I do. The hole could be easily repaired, but I'm not going to bother too because I just bought new skinny black jeans instead. My laziness is your gain. By the way I have already broken in these jeans beautifully, they have NEVER been washed and will remain that way (I'll leave it up to you). I even got a compliment from Peter, the designer himself, at a sample sale i went to. He said, "Nice jeans. Who makes them?" I replied, "Thanks I love them, you make them." He replied, "Nice, I didn't recognize the fabric." Badass.

    SHIRT IS SOLD

This is a Thom Browne Button-Down Dress Oxford in blue with white collar and cuffs from the Fall 08 collection (This is NOT from the new, lower priced, diffusion line). I literaly only wore this shirt twice. Once with the cuffs down, peeping out a blazer and once by itself with cufflinks. After two wears I machine washed the shirt once. Apparently I'm a filthy bastard because there are dirt lines at the cuff creases on BOTH arms (I tried to show this in the pictures). I'd imagine the stains would come out easy but I don't wear the shirt enough to trouble with it (I haven't even tried).
