If I wear Levis in 29 or 30 roughly, and size down to a 27 in APC NS, would that be ok?

The measurements according to Context for the size 27 are

Waist: 29

Rise: 10

Thigh: 10

Knee: 7.75

Leg: 7.25

I'm curious how much the stretch in the thigh and waist will be, since I think this will be a bit painted on me until I get the fit I want. Advice?

APC: NS or PS?

I need a pair that will work on all the casual gear i wear, but want a leg that will look good with deck shoes.

Are Petit Standards considered SKINNY or SLIM fit wise? And are they more spacious than NC?

If I'm looking for a snug/slim fit that isnt skinny, and need some thigh space with a smaller hem... should I go with NS or PS?

Lastly, any good fit pics of the PS?

I need some help in deciding on a pair of jeans. Usually I had worn basic pairs such as Levis (514/501/505/501 STF), but I've been thinking about going to APC or Good Society Slim. Trying to get into an entry level raw denim for the most part.

I know the cuts differ on the two I'm interested in, but I was wondering if people can suggest raw denim (that isn't overly pricey) which may have some room in the thighs, but has a nice taper towards the leg opening. I usually wore 29x30 or 30x30 in Levis.

So I've been debating on purchasing a pair of their raw slim leg jeans from the newer season and had some questions. It's those Organic cotton denim joints.

1. Are these now true to size, or do I still have to size down?

2. Are the newer dyes used better than the ones that were being used in the earlier seasons, and what kind of dye is it?

3. What jeans do the raw denim slim legs fit like, and anyone have a pair they can post fit pics of? Curious to see the progression of wear.

See, I didnt think the fit looked too bad since I do have chicken legs, but i'm still trying to search for a pair that is slim (not skinny) with a slight taper that'll work better.

Anybody own Good Society Slim Leg raw jeans? I dont even know if those run big and if I should size down or what...

How are NFY jeans? I was looking at a black pair on YOOX that looked decent, but I can't say I'm too familiar with the brand/fit/quality.
