fortuitously saw this topic just when i thought of finally selling off my IH 634s due to non-usage for almost two years, as the cut doesn't really work for me. i'm only about 20 miles from steven at railcar but had to send them in. (next time, i'd like to take up steven's invitation for a factory tour and pick up a railcar pair). long story short, and i know i don't really post but i'm no shill either, i couldn't be happier with the tapering mod done to my 634s. it still respects the cut, but more suited to my less-than-gigantic thighs, and the alteration craftsmanship is just superb. you really could hardly tell that they were altered. steven knows his shit! anybody wanna buy a pair of unused final run OG roy's? (just kidding lol)

They're a 34x34. Leg opening is around a 9, thigh I'm guessing is about 10.5. I can get you some more precise measurements.

it's alright, man. i got me a pair coming. i'm prepared to live with the bagginess if need be. i've been wanting a cinch-back cotton duck pants (not sure if they're actually cotton duck, but duck and canvas are kissing cousins, right?). got it for a good price, thanks to the guy who posted the active discount code.

i don't believe self edge has the 461 selvage yet, only the 634S and i'd like some bootcut atm. at any rate, i decided to get the sda's (d-1002). i'd probably get the IH 634 in a few months.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Got enough slim and straight at the moment, and on the trail of the great slight bootcut. I already have an old pair of RRDG, so staying away from that. My two choices:

Iron Heart 461 (not selvage, though)

or

SDA D-1002

Pros and cons? They're priced about the same.

I don't have big thighs, and am pretty slim, if that helps. Thanks.
