  1. Yeah I saw their thread in the supermarket section, I just don't know if Japanese retailers will get some. Thanks for the reply though, assuming the backpack does release in Japan I'll go through them.

  2. So basically I need this backpack:

    eastpak-cosmic-devotion-backpack-2.jpg

    eastpak-cosmic-devotion-backpack-3.jpg

The only information I can find on it is spring/summer 2012 and there will only be 500 of 'em. Does anyone happen to have any additional information on this backpack and could I be directed to an individual or service that would be able to proxy it for me assuming it's not available online? I was not aware that Eastpak pulled out of the U.S. market, making this even harder for me to try and get.

  3. should think about the apc x supreme series since the denim is actually made in japan. i checked the tag.

Haha what the hell, how perfect. I just ordered the Supreme APCs and noticed on the website it said "Japanese canvas" and immediately wondered if they used Japanese denim for the collab, but no one I casually asked seemed to know, so I came on here to ask. Awesome.

  4. Do not go true to size, I'm around a 32 and I wear a 28 in PS. Any bigger and they would be falling off my waist, I'm even wearing a belt with the 28's.

Haha you probably aren't a 32 waist then...

I mean I've seen a few fits of people going true-to-size, but they've just randomly come and go so I can't remember any usernames specifically to ask questions, but while my true waist is a 28 (and my current pair of raw jeans are as well), I had worn 30s prior with Levi's and such to compensate for sag, so I didn't think this sounded like too bad of an idea.

  5. So if Context measurements are pretty accurate, it seems that Petit Standards when sized up a little have a nearly identical cut to Skull 5010s (for the waist sizes I'm looking at, at least). 27s in 5010s is almost spot-on with 28s of Petit Standards, sans for the rise being 0.75" different. However, going with 28 for the Petit Standards would mean I'm going true-to-size, has anyone here purchased their true size for APCs? I'm afraid the waist will be loose, and I don't really like belts.

    Thanks.

(EDIT) ranonranonarat those are the sickest APCs I've ever seen, holy shit. Good job.

  6. Any sales going on for new standards?

Word, the Tobi coupon everyone's been using expired. I'm lookin' fer a pair of size 26 NSs, if anyone has a pair they don't want, hit me up.

Anyone know any sites that are selling APCs with still-working coupons?

  7. I bought some Gatsby shit at a local Mitsuwa but might have picked up the wrong one... It's a wax but doesn't really do much for my hair and if I do get my hair to do something I like, it just dies in 30 minutes or so.

Which colored one would permit gravity defying hairstyles like this?

I'm Japanese/Korean, so my hair shouldn't be far off from his, but he did something to add that volume and have strands coming off in the back and shit, what's the trick to this?

  8. Great information, thanks a lot. I assume the first post is the way to reinforce an area without it being visible on the other side (i.e. the outside)? I didn't really read the method, just put it in the back of my mind for later.

  9. I went through the first like 12 pages and then started from the last page and went back like 8 or so, but some guy had a pair of jeans only 2 months in and people were asking him why he reinforced them already? Is it a bad idea to reinforce early because that will end up shredding through too? Because I'm getting a pair of Nudies and because the inseam will be a tad long, I wanted to get them hemmed and use the left over material to reinforce the crotch to avoid the infamous blowout. I also juggled with the idea of waiting for a crotch blowout and then having them repaired to add some character to them, but honestly I'd prefer just avoiding it completely if possible.
