  2. So i know to size up 2 from your real waist size for 47 501's raw.

I have some predistressed lvc 47 501's (saddlemans and the hardup wash)

What size would I get in raw if I wanted to get the same fit after the wash if my predistressed pairs are size 30.

  3. do all the 47 501 washes run in the same size, I mean i think they would just double checking ,I got a pair of saddlemans that fit just how i like an ima order a pair of the hard up 501 47's and just checking theyll fit the same.

  4. mmk ive read that already a couple of times. Im still not sure if I wana get another pair of 47's or branch out and get some 55's.

they say the rise is higher on the 55's any idea on how much? As im not that keen on such a high rise.

Also they say the 55 is oversized so go true to size, the pair im looking at are pre distressed and the smallest waist size is my true size which doesnt take shrinking into consideration so would true size in predistressed 55's be too baggy. Long story short ,how much is the oversize on the 55's compared to the 47's. and what exactly do they mean by the 55 is more boxy.

sorry for being annoying, but need some advice before either of them are gone.

  5. if i remember correctly the 1955s are quite over sized and the current sizing advice is to buy true to size. you should check out the 501 guide that paul T made : http://www.superfuture.com/supertalk/showthread.php?t=34010

according to the guide the 1955 tagged w32 measure 35" pre-soak. So perhaps downsizing would be advantageous.

  6. the 1947 501's are one of the slimmer 501's right? So i sized up 1 on my saddlemans im now looking at etting some 1955 501's what fit differences will there be ,do I still size up even though they might not be as slim.

  7. so ive got a hole in my 1947 saddlemans by the crotch which I dont think is spose to be as big as it is.What would be the best option to fix it?

I know theres spose rip in these jeans of course i just think this one may have been made bigger.

were the saddlemans also made in any other inseam apart from 34?

  8. dude, quit being lazy as hell. Pick up the phone, call up levi's and have them ship a pair to you. Not hard at all

I dont live in a country that has a levis store that sells lvc, please dont call me lazy without knowing wtf you are talking about.
