retail=13000 yen + 3700 yen for shipping = about 150 usd
self edge is the evil empire, get with it
I would rather pay $25 and get the jeans from a reliable source, have the jeans customized, free shipping and an opportunity to win a prize.

I recently broke my iPod so I am looking for a new one . I am not 100% sure that I will get one as I have been doing ok without it. But if I see a good one for sale I will probably buy it.
Thanks.

no need to have them huge on a slim cut, but pls w/o any design - just the already proposed tab. that's it!
Pretty sure that Kiya said the tab will not happen due to law suits etc...

Hi!Time for some APC's again!
I am thinking of getting a pair of the old Cure model. The reason I am thinking about the Cure is that I want something between the NS and NC in fit. Maybe the Petit Standard?
I currently have:
- NS in raw black size 29 (too baggy in the legs, want something skinnier)
- NC in raw indigo size 30 (want something less tight in the legs next time).
I am 33-34 inches where I wear the jeans. A tall and skinny guy.
Questions:
- How should I size in Cure and Petit Standards given the above stats into consideration?
- The Cure model doesn't seem to be discontinued. They seem to go on and on on the APC site. Do you know why?
- Do the Cure and Petit Standards have the long inseam that I love about the NC?
- Do the NS and Cure have the same tigh measurements?
I have been thinking of getting NC in 31 but I think they would still be too tight. I want something less tight this time only not as big as the NS. NC in 32 would be too loose in the waist almost out of the box I think.
You could just size down your NS and get a 28 or 27.

SOLD
Ok, I got these jeans about a week ago from a SF member. Here is the link: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=71018 . They are KMW 1980 made in Japan size 32x34.I wore them for about an hour and decided they were too tight for my liking.I bought them for $140 and I am looking to sell them again for the same price. The seller said they had been worn a couple times and from the looks of it they were worn for about a week. No fading, no real creases except for a littl at the back of the knees. I only wore them at the house for about an hour.
I have a pair of non-raw Faconnable jeans that I will throw in for $15 extra( to cover my shipping ) They are size 32x34 as well but the waist is tighter than most 32s.
Also willing to trade these for a larger rommier pair of raw denim jeans. Message me if you have anything your willing to trade.
Will post pics and exact measurements when I get home

Heh, thats a good plan. They will probably fit kinda tight if you loose weight for a while so make sure thats ok too and you dont want a baggy fit. Otherwise swap them.

Hmm...really? Won't stretch that much? Anybody else have opinions? I'd like some more help before I send back and exchange for a 30.Basically how people size with APC is this: 3 down for tight jeans, 2 down for skinny jean but not skin tight, 1 down for slightly baggy and true size for baggy.
You should be able to button at least one of the buttons. Use a tape measure to measure your waste. I'm guessing your true waist is something like a 33. Thats how it is with me. I usually get size 32 in non raw-denim but its tight and after some wear the loosen up.
I would try to return them or sell/trade them in the supermarket section.
Good luck.

Ok got my KMW 1980 in 32X34 and they were way too tight for my liking( 6"3' 175lbs). From above the knee it was nearly skin tight or at least it seemed so. I am used to mall brand(Indigo Palms, Faconnable, Mavi, Levi) pre-washed bootcut jeans.
So I am looking to get rid of them and get a roomier pair of jeans. Keep in mind this is my first pair of raws...
What I was looking at:
RRDS
Imperial king(Duke's seem too much like 1980)
Flathead 380
KMW 2010
APC NS or Rescue
I was told that for my first pair of raw denim to not get a japanese brand since it is for more experienced buyers. There are a lot of Japanese jeans that catch my eye but I am trying to not get one for a first pair. And yup I know I have a flathead on the lsit.
Also if anyone has any other suggestions please feel free to give them.

Ok, well I just recieved my pair of KMW 1980 jeans last night in size 32x34. Basically they are way too tight for my liking. I did all the measurements and such but they are almost skin tight from the knees up. I am 6'3"ish and 175 lbs.
So I am wondering will these stretch to my liking? I have always been a fan of roomier jeans and thought that a straight leg jean wouldn't be too tight but i guessed wrong or got the wrong size.
Well if nobody thinks these will stretch much, I will be looking to sell/trade them for a roomier jean or $$.

So I am guessing that most of the jeans have been worn for about a year or somthing like that? You never really specify how much wear the jeans have in your post.

will they fade worse after washing? No and yes. Once you wash raw denim you loose some indigo in the water(how much depends on how you wash it). If you loose the indigo it makes the contrast between the faded parts and non-faded parts much more similar since the enitre jean has lost shades of color. There is nothing wrong with washing jeans every 2 weeks, just dont expect to see as much contrast in the fading and expect the jeans to be a lighter color.
This is why most people just wait 4-8 months before they wash it. They want to make sure that they get a lot of contrast and make the fading noticable.
So basically short answer is that yes it will fade after a wash it will just be less noticable when it fades.

yes, i totally understand that the fading happens from wear and constant contact, but mine is so subtle im just wondering/asking if it will get more noticeable after a hot soak. if not ill just keep wearing them until they get more worn. You need to understand that with raw jeans you wont see the results right away. Most of the amazing fades that you see posted here or on other sites are of jeans that have been wear for a year and 95% of that year. Give it 4-6 months and fades will be more noticable. Dont just keep washing the jeans since all that will do is make them a lighter color due to the loosing of indigo.

Not gonna lie but I actually like the TR patch. New rep bars are interesting, just noticed it.
