  1. I hate camo, primarily because you see it worn as parachute pants or actual hunters who have no regard for fashion whatsoever. It should be left to the realm of functional clothing IMO.

Based on what I've seen, dark colours with formally styled items (blazers, trenches, etc) mixed into casual styles is whats in right now. Blazer with sneakers will be the outfit of the season I think.

  2. Steve McQueen and Daniel Craig as James Bond are my inspirations.

Timeless styles pulled off effortlessly by both. I also pay attention to what Kanye rocks as he's not afraid to experiment with weird shit and skimming for his good outfits usually produces unique items that few people have (shutter shades and Ato's come to mind). It's hard not to ignore his influence on fashion now, whether you love him or hate him.

Xavier and Gaspard from Justice also have some pretty tight items.

  3. Persol 649's or 714's.

I've never seen a brand of sunglasses that can meet the craftsmanship and style of Persol. Handmade in Italy with timeless styles and incredible lens quality (crystal). Puts Ray-Ban to shame.

  4. I received a Boccia and Nixon watch for my high-school graduation:

Both aren't very exclusive but now carry a lot of sentimental value and are good for different settings. The Nixon is quite functional and good for sport/recreation, the Boccia is perfect for dressed up settings (I've received a lot of compliments for it.)

I'm hoping for a Tag Heuer Carrera automatic tachymetre for my university graduation. Looking forward to snagging a Bell & Ross and Breitling once I start making some dough after graduation.

  5. Every man should know how to cut his own hair by himself when the need arises. Rock a #2 length clip with an electric razor, buzz it all off and see how your hair grows back, have a female friend do the details and trimming for areas that are difficult on your own (behind ears, neck, etc). The lack of maintenance is quite liberating.

I shaved my hair in August and am growing it out for a comb-over style, similar to the styles in Mad Men. I will get a stylist to cut the sides and back once my hair starts pulling 'hockey hair' maneuvers on its own, however. Top will be left long!

I find this cut is very versatile as you can slick it back for a conservative look at work (if you have a white collar job), and easily transitions to casual/messy looks for going out/leisure time will still looking respectable.

I will be removing the stitching on the back pockets for originality, Top 2 threads on left and bottom 2 on right will be left. (Will post pics)

  10. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAAHHA

Real investors aren't lazy. You're just a moron.

"A fool and his money are soon parted."

edit: anyways i'm a dick. to contribute-

the reason why that line of thinking is bad, is that at this point, nobody really knows where the economy is headed, but most people agree that we haven't hit anywhere near the bottom. We can point to any number of indicators, such as gas prices, food staple prices, raw material prices, etc. simply as supporting evidence. aka constant struggle 10char

Also, each investor should thoroughly research any stock they throw their money at. That's just baseline common sense.

It doesn't matter where the economy is headed because the stock market has never been a completely accurate representation of the market, it's all just speculation.

While everyone knows the economy is in shits and could get worse (2 quarters of GDP decrease now), the market is still acting like it's having a convulsion (rapid ups and downs). Now is a great time to buy, just because you don't buy at the absolute bottom (aka timing the market), doesn't mean you'll be in a bad position on the way up. It's better to buy Apple at say $90 even though it has the potential to go to $70 because once the economy picks up, it'll be a $200 stock anyways.

Either way, buy companies that provide basic needs (Wal-Mart, any grocery store chain). People aren't going to stop eating because the economy is down, these are some of the few companies that will experience growth as well as any company that provides opportunities for businesses to cut costs (Cisco conference calling anyone?)

  11. I've been reading a lot of post-modernist shit (Foucault, Nietzsche, etc.) and in a holistic view, everything becomes such a mindfuck because it's not studying cause and effect but rather all the different relationships power has within society and once you break it all down, everything is so interrelated you can't even begin to trace the steps of any action.
