i've just gotten my 44 from cultizm.

so i've heard we need to soak it first and allow it to shrink.

Whats the process of it? Soak for how long in what water temperature and do i wear it while it is still damp and allow it to dry or something else? I've seen many people do different techniques but i dont know which one is correct. please help.

Are 47s slimmer than 44s? Or the other way round?

I'm keeping my options open. If i were to get waist 30 with 44s, what about 47s?

Hope somebody can help me clarify this. I was thinking of getting a pair or 1944 s501xx from cultizm. I also saw dr.house pictures and it seems like the 44s shrinks 2 inches after wash. While cultizm said it’s waist is about ½ to 1 inch wider. So are the 44s 2inches wider or ½ to 1 inch wider to tagged waist?

I can’t decide whether should I get them in tagged 30s or 32s. I’m currently wearing a LVC washed 1966 501 31/34. It’s the japanese series (MIJ) and I heard the japanese levis run smaller than the US ones.

just curious. why do sugar cane denims need to be soaked after bought, but for apc denims ppl say its not really necessary to soak it new.
