  1. My pops, brother and I tried to go check out the USS Abraham Lincoln while it was in San Pedro, but got turned away when they reached max. capacity for the day. Kinda a bummer, but we still got to see it from a nearby beach and got to see the Korean Peace Bell.

And here's my jeans. So far no washes, 1 cold soak when I first got them.

  2. So I picked up a pair of the kevlar slim guy jeans. Since there is kevlar in them, would a soak have any effect on them? Or are they just like any other pair of jeans? Any help is appreciated, Thanks

  3. Great fit ! That's the fit I'm looking for post soaked, how did you size ?

my jeans are size 27. i usually wear a 28-30, so i just went with the waist size that would fit, plus the thighs were pretty similar in size to my size 28 sexih03. i'm gonna give these a cold soak when i get home after work and see what happens with shrinkage.

  4. i also just received my jeans today. very awesome quality. the pictures of them on the website and here just don't do them justice to what they look and feel like in person. i'm satisfied with how they fit, but i'm gonna have to go get em hemmed somewhere. i had to cuff them 3-4 times to get them where i like them. here's a pic:

other than the length, i'm happy with how they fit. so how would i be able to soak these while getting the least amount of shrinkage? cold water for 20 mins? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!!

  5. Not really pics of the jeans, but more the jacket. I think I was just tripping about the sizes at first cause, it was really stiff and didn't quite fit like I hoped it would. So after putting it on a few more times and just chilling in it, I really like it. I've ridden with all my gear on and it fits good for my needs. Just enough room for a sweat shirt and my back/chest protector. Thanks you very much Giles and Iron Heart for great service and product.s And the pics are not the best, cause the only camera available was a macbook.

  6. I got a superblack rider's jacket from Iron Heart UK a little bit ago. I got a medium and it is slightly on the big side. I was thinking of exchanging it for a small, but they might be sold out and I'm not sure it would be too much of a size difference(everything gets taken in 1-2cm). So I have a few questions. Should I soak this before wearing(hot or cold?)? Would it shrink up at all?

  7. Hi there,

I was visting SF this weekend and stopped by Self Edge on friday night. I've only driven by it in the past , the friends I was with at the time wanted to go somewhere else. So it was really cool to finally see the store in person, very awesome set up. I've been eyeing a pair of the Iron Heart Cyclist jeans for a while now and finally made the plunge after trying on a pair. I was going to get a pair in size 29, but apparently all of the 29's were not in the store at the time. So I tried on a 28 and what do you know they fit. A little tight, but they should loosen up. Thanks for the help and thanks for the awesome jeans, these things feel like they are going to out live me!

  8. i got a 1979 Suzuki GS550E about a month ago and have been loving it!! i was thinking about a 250, but everyone i talked to told me i would out grow that quick. good thing i went with a bigger bike. it has 1200 miles and i'm the 3rd owner. this is my first real bike, i used to ride a 50cc and this thing is soooo much more fun to ride. i can actually keep up with traffic for once!! haha...anyways here's a few pics
