Loyal left field customer and Cone greasers are hanging on after 2 years (some knee patch required. And miner indigos are only getting better after 18 mos. Fixing to get ready to cop a pair of 130z cones and I noticed the sizes on the greasers changed a bit with the last run? Higher rise and slightly narrower leg opening? Also, please please get the seconds up on the site!
Just a suggestion, move the contest stuff to a separate thread as you did for the indigo miners. That way we can can stay focused on the brand in general. Personally never ever gonna catch me in a pair of sweats.
Bummer, I just noticed this too about the cut of the greaser. I already had to size up to fit my thighs and to get the 8.5 leg opening but now the 37 will be way too big in the waist. Too bad because this was my favorite denim cut out of any on the market and planned on buying a pair of the new 15 oz cones.

Just curious, someone mentioned in the past that the next (or maybe current) run of the Cone Mills greasers are 13oz, up from 12.5. Can anyone confirm?

Yes, Nisshinbo denim is 15 oz. Really, really nice stuff. I just got a pair last week.

Just ordered the SL-100s and sized up 1. Cant wait to get these as I have been looking for a nice pair of jeans that has a little more of a relaxed fit and the denim looks top notch.

@TresUnCool, I have done exactly this. I am a true 33" waist and have the Nisshinbo greasers in a 36 and the 13 oz Cone greasers in a 34. I wear the 36s in the winter with my heavier coats for a more relaxed look and the just got the 34s in the mail. they fit slimmer but not too skinny as I dont like my balls/thighs to be strangled. Plus, too skinny of a jean looks really awkward on my because I do lift a good amount and it would look top heavy. I am dropping the new Greasers off to be hemmed tomorrow but will try to get some photos before I do of both fits. IMO, the greaser is the best fit out there right now for my tastes. I love that I can find a jean with a good amount of room in the seat/thigh and still has a slim leg opening.
